Switching to Levemir but need to check AMPS & finalize dose, BRB. Well, Lanky is just full of surprised with this low yellow!

(where does your Lev come from, do you know? Did you buy it locally or online?)

LEV came from WalMart but they had to order it from the"warehouse" as it was not is the store. Alternatively, they would have phoned around to another store & I could have driven there to pick it up. Took additional 2 days.

What's the recommendations for testing BG, same as w/ Lantus? Does the food rule (must eat within 2 hours of shoot) apply? Just curious -- Lanky has had a pretty healthy breakfast of Wellness - beef & chicken formula. Last night he ran a sneak attack and nibbled some of my pie crust while my back was turned for just a second -- nothing is safe & he has such a wide repertoire of tastes... :mrgreen:

Thought I should clarify -- BG every two hours would be fine until we get a sense of what direction he is going in.

Remember, if the day goes pink we can try the 8u tonight.
I'd rather be wrong on this side of the numbers than the other way.

Unless numbers drop signigicantly things looks good for 8u tonight.

This morning we were going to go with 8u but played it safe cause numbers had come down. Lanky was seeing some nice progress on the 9u so a 1u jump from this morning's 7u -- to get to where we wanted to start 8u, prior to last night's and this mornings numbers, seems like a good idea to me. From here on out we'll go up in 0.5u increments.
