I just saw that Chewy has injectable odansetron: https://www.chewy.com/ondansetron-hcl-generic-injection/dp/336791 Ask the vet for a prescription. You might need syringes and needles, too, probably just 1 ml syringes and 27 gauge needles.
i JUST asked the vet too about this cause i been having a time too w getting them in.. 😀✨ since hes needing help eating rn he cant take em up.. the office was like well its so many injections a day.. la la.. idk. but i hear ppl use it!! what do u think? seems easier.. some say tho the pills are better? idk

The Chewy description says the effect lasts up to 24 hours? It might only be dosed up to twice a day. I'm getting it for Leroy so I'll let you know what the dosing is although it may be ECID.

Leroy's injectable odansetron dose is 1 ml once a day. It's a lot for a single injection. Fortunately Leroy gets fluids so the odansetron is going into that.

I would get a few jars. You can always use it to thin the syringe food you are feeding in place of some of the water to add more calories.
Just keep going really slow with the syringe feeding (one small bit at a time into the side of the mouth only).

i think i need to be slower.. its been a few days and im afraid sometimes im too fast.. but i try my best to see him chew and swallow.. sometimes i give water. i wait a minute or two.. hes so thirsty sometimes.. that bad? i do my best it be on the side and not much..🥺💜

I know it's hard sometimes. I've had syringes stick sometimes and all a sudden when I kept pressing the plunger it would release more than I intended. Just do your best, be as careful as you can be, and have a good supply of new syringes if the used ones don't work as well (stick).
I used syringes with no black rubber at the end of the syringe I think they may be called no rings, but I don't know where to buy them. They were donated to me long ago.
