Yesterday Neko decided to put her BLUE dress on!

And naturally her liver had issues today with spending so much time in the blues. So we are back to Neko Classic - daytime bounce mode. She's still not getting PetDophilus which I thought might be contributing to raising her numbers during the day. Maybe it saved her from going pink? Who knows. The experiment will continue for a while. The original reason for adding it was because her poops were a little dry and I thought she needed some help processing the raw food. As evidenced by this morning's LB activity however, she's doing fine in that department. Civvie Theo (aka The Wild Thang - more later) still needs a little assist.
The warm days continue. Neko is currently stretched out in the kitchen in front of the fridge, getting a slight breeze from it. She heads out into the solarium for about 10-15 minutes, then gets too hot and has to come back in. Cools off, then back to the solarium. Heats up, back in again. In this weather she's a lot more active in the evenings.
OT: Last night we had a serious fright. I realized when I was doing Neko's +3 test that Theo was missing. He's always the first to be in position for test/treat. Scour the house, no Theo. He's an indoor cat and semi-feral. I've had him for a little over 2 years. I once took him out in a harness and he freaked his way out but was frozen in terror so got him back in. He hasn't been out since so doesn't know our yard. Last night he must have dashed out when we had the door open for one reason or another. Naturally it was dark at this point. So off DH and I go with flashlights in hand, trying to find him. I did see him several times, but his feral side kicked in and he ran away. At one point I managed to stretch out and he sniffed my finger, then hissed and ran. For the longest time I couldn't see him, but at one point in the neighbour's yard I heard a cat scream (like Neko does when Theo gets too familiar) followed by his whimper, so I knew he was around. Finally about two hours after we noticed him missing, I managed to find him and herd him to the front of the house where he dashed in the front door. Poor guy, heart pounding, breathing fast, but he did get over it after 1/2 hour. Beans took a while longer.
Happy Canada Day everyone!
