Looks like Girlie is back in black; at least she's being consistent, though. If she's still in black at +4, would it be ok to stop testing til PMPS?
On the plus side (@Bron and Sheba): I couldn't believe it - she ate the raw chicken heart! Very surprised... Now I just have to get over my queasiness at cutting those up into tiny bits.
Civvie question: I've got another cat, Max, who decided to move in with us some years ago. He's currently in exile (although we do garden play dates and he occasionally comes back into our area for a little while) because a) initially Girlie was so sick post-hospital days/pneumonia/etc. and needed a lot of personal TLC; b) I'm monitoring everything that goes in and comes out - getting food in is still an issue as she's a grazer - and Max would complicate that; and c) Girlie finds him incredibly annoying (always has) and either smacks him (lightly) or nips him if he comes near so he'll go away. I'm not sure where to go with Max and all of this... Any thoughts? I'm sure I saw a Civvies thread, but I can't seem to find it...
They're both Velcro cats and want to be as close to me as possible all of the time, which is lovely, but in this situation, complicated. Girlie is happy as a clam that he's no longer in the room, but Max is feeling ignored. Sigh...
