Good Evening, Everyone,

We are here at Camp Stu after a long, busy day. It is always hard to travel to camp for the first time in the season, making sure we have all of Rusty's stuff, as well as our own and all the staples, etc. that have to be brought down to camp anew each year. Well, we are here. Rusty hacked up a hairball as soon as he got into the car. That's 2 hairballs within the last few weeks. I guess it's because he is shedding his winter coat. (We certainly comb and brush him enough!). Anyway, he had a good trip, but was not as calm as he has been on our trips to the city. Once here, he got outside while we were bringing stuff into the house and immediately spotted a chipmunk, slunk low onto the ground and inched forward, but the chippie saw him and went running and yelling! We all had a good nap this afternoon. We discovered 4 dead house mice in a wastepaper basket that we had forgotten to set upsidedown. I felt so bad about this.
I re-injured my knee yesterday (don't even know how or when) and am mighty disappointed.

I hope everything is ok in LL. I read about Venita's scaling back DCIN and am so sorry that she had to do this. Rusty is a DCIN adoptee and the organization it took to get him to us with a car relay through Canada was simply amazing. I hope that after a much needed rest Venita will be able to get DCIN going again.

Wishing all a good evening and continuing to send healing vines to those in need.

Yo Kitties: tomorrow we're going to go swimming and paddling, fishing, and have a picnic on the dock. We'll choose up teams for the Kitty World Cup practice sessions. See you then.

Sounds like a lot of fun once everything settles down though!

Considering all the changes, Rusty's numbers look pretty good!

BOO on the hairballs, but I guess in the long run, it's better that they get them up...I just wish they'd pick more convenient places to do it...Like on the kitchen floor instead of the living room, couch or bedspread!

Have lots of fun!

Pretty nice numbers for a travel day. The lagoon is just a jump away from the grotto. Good job on Rusty putting those chipmunks in their place.

Bummer on the knee! I hope it's just a quick setback.

I'z all set for fishin', got my sushi knives all sharpened! Today I was a Brazil fan, dunno about tomorrow. ~Neko

Boo on the hair balls and boo on the tweaked knee! Nice blues for arrival day, and Zener wants all the details of the chippie hunt!

Glad you all had a safe trip. I hope the hairballs are behind Rusty.

I am so sorry you injured your knee again. Tobey is coming tomorrow and getting the KTSS Krewe together to bring you soup and spa!! and cimmamum ice cream :-D

Rusty, you are the man! You didn't let a travel day mess with your BG and you already established your seniority over the chipmunks! What a champ! :-D

Ah, hairballs. With long-haired cats, I just don't know how you avoid them. Minka usually leaves hers conveniently placed so we'll step on them in the morning in our bare feet. Wakes you right up!

Ella, I'm so sorry about your knee. I hope some rest will make it better and it won't hinder your enjoyment of your time at camp.

Yo, Rusty! I's so excited about camp, but I gots to get off my trampoline first. Mama says no camp unless I settle down and give her some nice numbers, so I's workin' on that! Save me a place at the picnic. I's not a good swimmer, but I used to be a good fisher before I went blind. Maybe I can still do it - I can't wait to try! See you soon! - Cinco
