Good Evening, Everyone,
We are here at Camp Stu after a long, busy day. It is always hard to travel to camp for the first time in the season, making sure we have all of Rusty's stuff, as well as our own and all the staples, etc. that have to be brought down to camp anew each year. Well, we are here. Rusty hacked up a hairball as soon as he got into the car. That's 2 hairballs within the last few weeks. I guess it's because he is shedding his winter coat. (We certainly comb and brush him enough!). Anyway, he had a good trip, but was not as calm as he has been on our trips to the city. Once here, he got outside while we were bringing stuff into the house and immediately spotted a chipmunk, slunk low onto the ground and inched forward, but the chippie saw him and went running and yelling! We all had a good nap this afternoon. We discovered 4 dead house mice in a wastepaper basket that we had forgotten to set upsidedown. I felt so bad about this.
I re-injured my knee yesterday (don't even know how or when) and am mighty disappointed.
I hope everything is ok in LL. I read about Venita's scaling back DCIN and am so sorry that she had to do this. Rusty is a DCIN adoptee and the organization it took to get him to us with a car relay through Canada was simply amazing. I hope that after a much needed rest Venita will be able to get DCIN going again.
Wishing all a good evening and continuing to send healing vines to those in need.

Yo Kitties: tomorrow we're going to go swimming and paddling, fishing, and have a picnic on the dock. We'll choose up teams for the Kitty World Cup practice sessions. See you then.
