Not worse but not better. Tests they did were normal. If she doesn’t return to normal this week she suggests endoscopy to see if IBD. She said to continue ondansetron and appetite stimulant for now and she’s getting sub-q. I pick her up soon.

Patty, please try and get one test between +2-6 when possible. Are you still having trouble getting blood? We can’t tell how low she’s going.

Great the tests are normal anyway. She'll probably feel better after the sub-q fluids. I sure hope she's on the mend. So scary when you don't know what to do for them.

Yes, I can get another reading tonight. I'm getting better at getting the blood. Probably was just me.
 
Finally checking in today. Looks like Brat needs to go back up to .5 units. Let me know if this is correct.

If you can start getting a second test you can increase. Vary the times as we want to catch the nadir.
 
Okay, I'll start tomorrow. Brat isn't eating much. I made some bone broth to put on her food so she ate better but still not enough. I put the appetite stimulate on her ear but I also have the pill form. I'm thinking about changing to see if it works better. I have an appt. at the vet on Wednesday.

Chai any better today. How about you?
 
Thanks fir mentoring the appetite stimulant. I forgot to give it to Chai so just did. I got her to eat more today but she has diarrhea an hour or two later so not sure how much she’s getting. I ordered psyllium powder. I had to syringe this morning to get some of the probiotics into her. She didn’t get it all. I dint know how they think a cat will swallow a capsule that large. People say it’s tasteless but both she and my friend’s dog won’t eat food with it mixed in.
 
The pill mirtazapine made Tiffany very vocal and agitated. If tge pintment dies t work try cyproheptadine. I’m going to get some if this doesn’t work.

Brat had liquid diarrhea for years. She was down to 4 pounds. Nothing worked. One day at the vet my old vet who retired and sold the hospital was there. Dr. Bruno asked about her and said don’t give her anymore cat food. Feed only rotisserie chicken with added taurine. I did that and also found Smalls homemade cat food and it solved the problem. I don’t know if that will work for you but if all else fails it’d be worth a try. I also found Just Food for Cats and since Brat hasn’t been eating well, I tried it this morning. She ate most all of it. The Just Food for Cats can be bought at the pet stores. Smalls is a subscription. Anyway, might be worth trying.
I gave Brat .5 this morning as she was 288 AMPS so I’ll get another test in a few hours. Oh, and she was up playing last night. Yay
 
Change of plans. I’m in ER. My lifelong friend fell in her backyard and her Apple Watch alerted me. I’ll have to check Brat pretty late I’m sure. Sounds like she broke something.
