Hi,
Sure didn't plan on being back so soon.. I was gone all day and rushing back home to remove Milo's
food bowl at 7:00PM and then Lantus PMPS at 9:00 Pm as usual.
Somehow i thought it was his time testing, food and Insulin... As soon as i gave him the shot i realized
my error! But feed his usual can of Low Cal FF Pate, and added another TSP of FF Grilled Chicken & Gravy.(12%)

He tested 261 at 7:00 PM ( **2 hrs early** PMPS)
Retested @ + 2 (9:00 PM) reading was 234. This is a first for me but i am thinking as long as i keep monitoring, testing every 2 hrs or even more frequently if his BG dips too low.( I am anticipating an earlier nadir this evening though.) And feeding small meals during
the night,we will be just fine.
I think his Nadirs are @+ 5-6 hrs..?
I also opened a new vial for this "early" PMPS dose and wondering if the Insulin will be more potent as it
is brand new?
I will be giving his AMPS dose at 7:00 AM on July 1st ~ Right?
*Curve was done on June 27th*
I appreciate everyone's expertise here on FDMB!
Thank's.

Hi Mariaana, looks like he's not having too crazy a cycle tonight. If you can get a +4 and a +6 (if he is much lower at +4), that would be good.

When getting back to your usual shot time, you can adjust 30 mins per day. So this is how you can do it.

July 1 - 7:30am/pm
July 2 - 8:00am/pm
July 3 - 8:30am/pm
July - 9:00am/pm

Hi Bhooma ~ You can't get rid of me can you? lol!
But seriously: you are my special Angel here on FDMD!
Ok so Tested Milo @+4.5 and his BG read 203. So not that bad at this point.
So should i test again @+6 then?
Also i usually give him a small snack around @+4 or @+5 .With or without testing as he always seem hungry.
So should i give him his LC FF pate or something higher in carbs now to "prevent a crash' later on?
I feed Milo 2 Tsp FF pate @+5 .
** Thanks for the adjusted Insulin schedule Bhooma!

Sounds like an epidemic of early shots happening tonight. At least you were only 2 hours early, my absent minded brain somehow managed to be 6 hours early :banghead:
