Only one wet pee pad this morning. Leroy did use the tray, probably after he peed on the pad. I have a full bottom Ferret Nation tray for more floor coverage if I need it.

Vet's secretary got a full update. Leroy might need Cerenia tonight. He was lip smacking a bit when I offered him the meatball with the odansetron inside and it took awhile for him to decide to eat it. I still have several syringes of injectable Cerenia. P-itis needs to go away :arghh: He ate most of breakfast and needing coaxing and some nutritional yeast to finish the rest. He's got a bit of a dehydrated skin tent :( He's getting close to 100 ml of fluids daily and drinks plenty of water.

You are an amazing caregiver, I really admire you and how much love and care you give to him. I know all of this can take a mental toll. There's no denying how loved and special he is (even with all the pee pads). He's so precious and I have a big soft spot for him. I really hope he starts to feel better and the fluids/water give him some much needed hydration.
 
Looks like we are both keeping the pee pad companies in business! I’ll have to check out the ferret tray you’re talking about.

I hope Leroy starts to feel better very very soon and that his leg is ok too! 💜

I was looking at automotive drip trays and other shallow trays when I realized I can just use the spare parts I have (sorry @Tim & Pookey !)

FPLI is still high:arghh: I'll add the Cerenia to the fluids tonight. Phosphorus is 2.7, the minimum low end of normal. BUN and creatine are slightly lower. BG 89, roughly +6. Vet will call on Friday to discuss.
 
He used the tray again. And also peed on a pad and pooped on a different one :facepalm: It's like a pad is no good after one use 😑

It took awhile to get him to eat dinner. More lip smacking. I had him in the bathroom so I could do fluids and easily clean up any mess. Only about 50 ml got in. Somehow the fluids starting leaking out way lower than where I had the needle halfway through 🤷‍♀️ Swiss cheese skin :blackeye:

Do you live in CA, by any chance? I have SO many pee pads.... Our rescue was able to buy them in bulk last year and I bought half a pallet, not realizing the insane amount of pee pads that is. I use them for trapping and in kitten kennels but I think I still have more than a lifetime's worth in my garage. 😜 I'd be more than happy to give you a couple boxes if I can figure out how to get them to you.
