Apologies for no post yesterday, Pumpkin took a turn for the worse right after Jack's morning shot and we ran down to the emergency vet. That took our whole day, Pumpkin is admitted again for dehydration and extreme pain. He's on a ton of medication, IV fluids. Sonogram showed crystals in bladder with extreme inflammation, no blockage, but he's not eating/drinking/peeing/pooping so I'm assuming he'll be in the hospital all day today as well. Waiting to hear from vet this morning.
All that being said, Jack only had two BG tests yesterday, I went to bed immediately after his dinner, and truthfully I could have stayed there all day today as well. Jack is struggling with his numbers, I think all the storms and hot weather are bothering him, or his stomach is upset, or both. He's been very picky with food, not eating as much, so if this continues tonight, I'm giving him a dose of cerenia to see if that will help. Hopefully the gigantic AC goes in the window this weekend if my ex shows up, and that will at least eliminate one potential problem (and make the electric company excessively happy!)
Fast Abby update- she seems a little better, got a somewhat decent look at her ear, no more discharge, but it still makes that squishy, water-in-the-ear noise when you rub it, and it's definitely still bothering her because she didn't want to get petted after I was touching it for about 30 seconds and took herself back behind the double recliners where I can't get her. I guess I'm trying to figure out how to get her to the vet in the next few days as well...or maybe have ex help move recliners to middle of room where they are totally in the way, but where she can't hide behind them
