I was pretty tired last night so I slept off and on in between posting results. Max was very quiet yet again. He didn't wake me this morning at 5 a.m. as usual. Maybe all this switching of foods is making him feel a little off? Maybe the fish oil? I'm going to skip the oil for a few days and see. He's eating enough, just seems depressed or something.
Thanks for checking in on us last night. My mom has been on blood thinners for years. This huge jump in numbers might be due to the antibiotics or maybe one of the tests was off and she was getting too much. The scary part would be if there is a bleed internally somewhere. My sister is going to take her to the doctor's office for the test instead of having the lab come to the house today. Fingers crossed that a few days off is starting to bring her level to a save number or she will need a transfusion and have to be admitted to the hospital. She just can't catch a break.
Max is not responding to less insulin in the way I've seen cats do when they are getting better. He touched green last night but is back up to yellow this morning. The spike isn't as high as usual but I was hoping for better. I still can't get the bubbles out of the syringes and am quite frustrated with that. I can get them up to the top but not out. Maybe that is part of the problem??
Gave him his insulin 15 minutes early to get back on track. Every minute helps with the late nights/early mornings!!
