Yesterday at Tricia's House of Chaos
Once again, I want to thank everyone that posted on our condo yesterday with words of support and encouragement, vines, prayers and hugs. You are all wonderful people and you are helping me through this nightmare. I don't think I could make it without you all.

back.
Cinco seems to have done well today. I did load Otto up with MC, to be sure he was safe, and drowned it in Florti Flora to keep Harvey away. It was all gone when we got home. I expected him to be a little higher at PMPS because of all that MC, but he was right where he's been. I'll probably do the same tomorrow. It'll be interesting to see what tonight's cycle looks like.
Harvey did not eat any of the moist food I left out all day.
He may have had some of the dry that is out upstairs, but he didn't get any from the downstairs bowl as DH closed the pantry door out of habit.
So far he hasn't touched his dinner and is still giving me pathetic meows and pleading looks. I feel like a monster. The pantry door has been wide open since we got home and I haven't seen him eat any dry, but I know he likes it, so I'm trying to stand firm. If we haven't made any progress by tomorrow, though, I may cave. Does anyone know of any other GI friendly formulas that I can try with him? I'm going to ask the IM that question in an e-mail tomorrow. Z/d is the only one we have tried, and there must be others out there.
Minka ate all her breakfast before we left, but I was unable to leave any food for her during the day, other than the dry, as she doesn't like Forti Flora either and Harvey would have found anything I left her. She's only eaten part of her dinner so far. I gave her some Zyrtec, so hopefully she'll eat. We had to skip her fluids this morning, as there just wasn't time to do it. We probably will tomorrow, too. So we'll give her the 100 mls at night - maybe a little extra, too.
Sasha also ate her breakfast and ate most of her dinner. I'm sure she ate dry during the day. It was hot today and warm in the house when we got home, so I'm sure summer appies are in play (for all but Cinco, the little glutton).
It was a long day at the track, but fun. The weather could not have been much better - probably low 80s, but there was a cool breeze and our seats are in the shade from about 11:00 am on. We did a LOT of walking (my Fitbit goal was reached before we left!). It felt great to get away for the day and concentrate on something not related to the kitties and their health.
@Marje and Gracie, is the Fructosamine run as a separate test from the Urinalysis? His report said his urine was negative for glucose. If it is separate, I'll ask the IM about it when I e-mail her. Thanks for the advice.
Gotta run to the local Chinese place and get dinner. No cooking for this bean tonight! I'll try to visit some of you later, but if I don't make it to your condo, please know you're all in my thoughts and prayers. I'm hoping Cinco lets me get to bed at a decent hour tonight.
Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans.
Thoughts and prayers are still with Carla. Extra prayers and vine to Amy's DF, Marje's DM, Chris' DM, Molly's DM and Elise's DM.
