Very discouraged with black numbers, not sure where to proceed from here. Is it as dangerous as hypoglycemia?

Hi Amanda, I saw in one of your posts that you said the test strips you use are expensive for you. If you live in the US you can get the human meter from Walmart,
Most members use the Relion Classic Premier
Here is the link for the meter and test strips so you don't have to search for them

That is so much cheaper than the strips my meter uses! I'm in Canada so I'll have to see if I can track one down here

I don't think the Relion Meters are available in Canada , saw someone posted that

No. Neko had a "black period" when she finally started seeing good numbers. You don't want them staying a long time in higher numbers, but Zach is coming down.

Let's see how he does on the same 2.25 unit dose AM and PM. That'll take a few days for the depot to settle at that dose.
