Good Sunday Morning, Everyone,
We had severe thunderstorms yesterday evening and night and we had to turn off our computers. Rusty was good in the storms, however. This morning it looks like we are about to get some more "weather". Rusty had a good night and this morning a good test and shot. Breakfast was eagerly consumed, as was his "lung treat". He's in his basket now, enjoying the relative coolness (in the 60s this morning, but still very humid).
Our trip to the Farmers' Market yesterday was great. We got lovely greens and veggies in this first day of our half share in the CSA: came home with our "own" wooden crate filled with a week's supply of field greens, arugula, spinach, broccoli rabe, green onions with their flowers, over-wintered sweet carrots, chives, kale. We ate a wonderful salad last night!
Today is a catch-up day on paperwork and chores. Tomorrow we paddle (hopefully this weather will be "outta here" by tomorrow) and on Tuesday we are going down to Camp Stu for a couple of days. Our friends hooked up the water (we get our water out of the lake) and camp is ready for the season. Rusty is looking forward to the rodents.
Everyone have a good day,
Ella & Rusty
