Good evening,

Binie was bouncing for three cycles after she went below 100 on friday. Today it seems she is back on track. Tomorrow we have to see the vet again. I felt this weekend she was still improving and today I saw her eating many times on her own - even the lc wet food. I was really pleased!

We'll see what the older - more experienced - vet says tomorrow. I hope she will not insist on the cortisone. So far Binie is taking the boswellia well.

Happy that Binie found the blues again
I read in the notes that she has ketones?
When Fistuk had ketones (my nightmare!) he was very nauseated and it was very difficult to get him to eat.
I'm very happy that Binie has eaten on her own today. Very good sign

Hi Shelly,
thank you for your kind words! Yes, Binie had ketones after her surgery in april. It might be because she developed a pancreatitis at the same time. At least we think she had one and treated it without doing all the diagnostics. She even spent one night in hospital to flush out the ketones. I hate these ketones because they are so unpredictable. Can be o.k. one moment and the next moment they go up like crazy. What was the reason Fistuk had ketones? Do you still measure? But with his great numbers it's unlikely he develops any ketones, as far as I know. Hope you enjoy your sunday and your trip!

Hi Staci, yes, I was very relieved too today! But it seems like she is bouncing again, we are at +5 and she is still at 450. We'll see what the night brings. And I will give an update about the vet visit tomorrow! I saw Ivy decided to explore the other side of the range after so many . Hope both of you can relax and have a night with lots of sleep!
