Max did get down to 125 last night so I guess he’s bouncing in yellows today. He’s being picky about his food today. He didn’t want what he usually likes but did eat tuna flavored Tiki cat. That’s my go to food when he’s picky. I volunteered to help teach Tae Kwon Do (martial arts) at kids summer camp at church in a few weeks so hoping I can get Max into some good but stable numbers before then. It’s only for a week, 3 hours in the mornings so he should be okay though.

Does he need an increase yet, or wait a couple more cycles since he had the 125 last night? He had been a little constipated but he just went and it was a lot so not sure if that’s a factor with him. @Wendy&Neko @FrostD

Constipation can increase the numbers. Are you giving him anything for it?
Yes he gets lactulose twice a day and Miralax once a day. He also gets water added to his food and a fiber supplement. All of that is every day unless his IBD or pancreatitis acts up and causes diarrhea. That’s not been an issue lately though. He still gets constipated sometimes if his numbers stay up for too long. So I guess that’s a viscous circle type thing.

If it were me I would increase, I don't think he's hitting green and if he is it's high green. Come on max!
I’m going to be gone for a few hours in the morning but he should be okay if I increase don’t you think? I will be back by AMPS +6.

Does Max have a history of reacting to the dose increase on the first cycle? Look at the spreadsheet to answer that question.

No I he doesn’t. I was just factoring in all things…the fact he’d finally had a BM after being constipated, the fact he hadn’t had a great appetite and was being so picky with his food, he was going lower at night and had that lower blue, me being out…even the flat yellows. I knew that those things could affect his numbers before he finally comes down. Can’t help it, my brain is just wired to think that way and I wanted another opinion. Thanks for pointing that out though. I understand your point.
