TODAY: AMPS/106, +1.5/84, +2/80 +2.5/74, +3/59, +3.5/65, +4/64, +5/56, +5.5/83, +6/85, +11/294, PMPS/342, +2/342
Good afternoon LL!
Well, it looks like last night's dosecrease was just what Eddie needed to kick his little behind into gear! He had a really long slow slide down last night. I finally stopped testing when he hit blue - mostly so I could have some inkling of what he might have in store for this morning. His AMPS was 106, which is exactly what I was hoping for - a very late nadir or dropping blue pre-shot. He didn't have a food spike, but I was diligent with the carbs starting at +1.5 - using a combo of medium carbs in the 12-16% range to keep him from dropping as the next dose onset, and 10% for surfing. Good day to call in sick to tbp for the morning, I guess. :? At +6. he's surfing nicely in the greens still. I have my fingers and toes and everything else crossed that he continues to surf. The auto feeders are set to go off at +7, +8, and +9 with small amounts of 10%. I was actually going to put a lower carb in the feeders for the latter part of the cycle, but I accidentally put in 10% and didn't want to scoop it back out of three feeders. It might be overkill, but we'll see when DH gets home and gets a test around +10.5.
I'm thinking the great momentum this morning has three things contributing to it - the dosecrease, a bounce clearing slide with a late nadir, and also as Marje pointed out about Eddie gaining momentum on dose 8 or 9, this would have been the 8th cycle had I kept the 1.25 units so maybe Eddie would have moved this morning even without a dosecrease. Regardless, I like it!
