6/18 Cinna | AMPS 91 | PMPS 88

We already have one more Libre - long story how that happened, it wasn't entirely intentional. DH went and got the first one, we knew they were cheaper in pairs and he was assured he had been given two - but, he only had been given one. I think there was confusion between the "Libre 2" vs "2 sensors". I tried to fix it but they wouldn't take it back and they also wouldn't give me one more and adjust the price. By that stage I'd been back and forth with the pharmacy and the vet and I didn't want to walk away empty-handed. I figured either Cinna could use them or DH could. :)

We are planning on being out of town from 7/11 to 7/17 so I'd always planned on putting that 3rd Libre on Cinna for his petsitter. At this rate he might not need it though lol.

Today was a really nice green day, though, the Libre was getting a bit loud later in the afternoon.

PMPS 88 - the lowest in a while

I noticed his AMPS was consistently lower than PMPS and the only difference I saw was that I give him a snack very late in the PM cycle (like PM+7 to 8.5). As an experiment, I gave him 1tsp LC at AM+9 today and I got the lowest PMPS for a while. That's only 1 day's data so not reading too much into that yet. Pretty counter-intuitive but I have read here that the food can make the pancreas respond with insulin so hopefully that is what is happening...

Yes that's what it is. At low doses, we ask members to give snacks at +9 to get rid of blue preshots. Functioning pancreas will produce insulin in response to food and lower the blood sugar.
