Lowest AMPS she’s ever had… I worry that 3U is gonna send her way down later today.

She has not yet been fed. I am around to monitor today.

81 is no different from the 87 or 93 you shot before - considering meter variance. But the food change puts a new light to our approach to her dosing.
You can either skip, or give a token shot of 1U or 1.5U, so she gets some insulin.

If you can monitor, you can give the full shot and skip tonight if needed.

I think I will do the 1.5U to see how she does on a reduced dose. Especially since we’ve had to give her more carbs the last few days.

Wow, amazing that she stayed so flat all night. Good idea to give 1.5. If you can keep Chloe surfing in greens on that smaller dose, it might be a keeper.

She what she does today. Since the food change her insulin needs are obviously less than what they were two weeks ago. Yay!

Just saw this. The higher depot is still at play and can affect 4-6 cycles after a reduction.

Good to know. I wasn't too worried that I didn't get a response because this has been her pattern for the last couple of cycles

Considering I cut her insulin in half this morning, I’m not surprised her PMPS is a bit high tonight. But hopefully that bodes well for an easy night.

I did 1.5. I have a feeling we’ll see blue rather than green based on the daytime readings.

I'd get a +2 and see where she goes. I'm hoping you'll have an easy night too, but you'll see the effect of the 3.5-3 unit doses for up to 6 cycles.

Like Katherine said, the previous depot can affect 4-6 cycles. Let's give it another day and see whether we need to take her back up.
