Most of you may not know who I am. I have not been very active on this board lately. Rex made it 4 years in remission. That's a huge milestone! :)

Unfortunately he had kidney issues that caused other issues and I couldn't stay on top of everything. I decided to let him go on 6/11. :( He's now with his best buddy again who left us on 12/29 (less than 6 months ago). I did not think Rex would last long after Precious passed. They were so close! :bighug: However, his numbers were always good except a blip here and there when he wasn't feeling his best.

Here are a few final pictures.

This last one was Rex comforting Precious towards the end. I'm glad they will get to be together again once I have Rex's ashes.

I could not pull up your pictures, Mandy. No matter I am so sorry for the loss of your very beautiful Rex and his sister in December. Four years in remission is remarkable. Prayers for your healing and knowing that you will see both of your babies again someday - God willing.

(((Mandy))) I do indeed remember you. I am very sorry to hear it was time for you to say goodbye to Rex. I've been down the road of kidney issues that caused other issues, and sympathize. It can be so hard even just to adjust to the routine of not taking of them, let alone just missing them not being there anymore. I hope you find peace and comfort when you remember the fond memories and I hope you take a little time for yourself. I will light a candle for your handsome boy.cat_wings>o

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope knowing your two are together again dims the pain just a little. I know it helped knowing that when I lost Max. :bighug::bighug::bighug: Max didn’t pass due to FD either. You took such good care care of Rex. Take care of yourself.

Oh Mandy, I'm so sorry to hear this news. I haven't been active here either and just posted an update yesterday on Aurora - she will eventually join Rex and friends to play - it's been a very rough couple days for us. Sending you a big hug. You were a wonderful cat momma and Rex was so blessed to have you take such great care of him!
