Yesterday

Morning LL!! It seems that Shadow is back from those pinks so I stayed with the 1.50u does this morning.. Kitties ate @ +7 last night instead of +8 and they were very happy to see their breffis this morning. I canceled the +8 check when I saw his number at 3am and figured he would be good until morning. He was purring as I shot him and all is good around here. All Ps except for the Playing one are in place already this morning! I didn't want to increase if I would not be home for awhile....

I am off in an hour to the airport to drop off DD and DH for the big dual birthday party in NY. Shadow was sitting on top of the suitcase last night looking sad until I told him that I was staying home with my kitties and would not be going anywhere. IF I were going,, my morning would be so drastically different from the way it is today. Whew. I can't even IMAGINE the stress I would be feeling right now if I had not made the decision to stay home. DH is all upset that I will be having a BIG party here while he is gone. :lol: I told him that I will try to muddle through the weekend without him....

I hope all the kitties are getting ready for the big New Moon Party. Oh, and BTW, I confiscated that spray paint!!! Poor Shadow didn't know that it was NOT appropriate to use on any living creature much less his best buddy! He was so upset when I explained that it was not the thing to use to help Stu "blend." He would never EVER want to hurt his Pal!

hey not a bad start to the day, especially after shadow was seeing some suitcases .. in this house that would probably throw mochas BG's through the roof! Hope your DD and DH have a great time in NY!

This is a low yellow number so I am sure Shadow will be back to blue very soon.

I have to come to Florida. to see my Aunt for her 80th-will be leaving DH here for kitties & DPS will come in to shoot(No my DH cannot shoot or test her-his perpetual ADD keeps him from concentrating & listening to me!!! :o )--So DPS will do her shots(only for a short weekend)--
I am freaking out already & didnt even make a reservation yet!!--I am terrified to leave her--havent been away except overnite in over 2 yrs!
These kitties Rule Us!!

Nice to see Shadow boy is getting off to a good start. That sounds like a nice weekend for you and the kitties. You can have a pajama party besides the Full moon party!

Hey Shad-0! I'm not angry with you, pal. The paint might have sounded like a good idea at the time, but the long-term effects might not have been much fun. Besides, I like my tuxedo!! How about I get a black apron to wear in the kitchen? Raja can wear one, too. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to the new-moon party. See you tomorrow!

Hi Pat, How nice that you don't have to go anywhere and can stay home and preside over a house full of diabetic kitties! We hope that your DD and DH have a nice time in NYC. Shadow has a good AMPS today. He'll be surfing in blue and maybe some green later today.

Did my A/P run this morning and stopped at the Feed place on the way home fo ran extra case of EVO95%.
Since i was passing by anyway. That made me feel all efficient.
I can't believe he fooled me again this morning with the low yellow. He does this ALL the time. I figure that he will come DOWN, but he goes the other way. Oh well. Whatcha gonna do, right?

Good luck with the dosecrease. It sounds like Shadow has earned it. Blackie is looking forward to the party tomorrow night. He can't wait to see Shadow & Raja & Stu & Buzz & ..... again.

Shad-O: I am bringing a guest to the party... hope that is OK. It is Chloe, from Chris and Chloe, who is staying with me for a week cuz her beans think they need a vacation. I hope she likes me. We have to be cool though, and maybe not scare her, she's not dark like us, and well she's nervous being away from home. 'K? Sorry about the bummer numbers man - mine are in the toilet too - i was sick this morning and couldn't eat anything so by bean gave me less juice... bummer cuz now my numbers really suck. later - i can hardly wait for the party! ~~ Mannie

OK, Maui is on her way to the party - it's a bit slow going, as she hooked up a wagon to Buster and is leading her along with all the left behind loot and Maui's pitchers of nipjitos and niptinis. Buster is doing her best to keep everything in the wagon, the pitchers from sloshing about and that darn, tabby striped kitty who is slowly waking up but did not want to leave Maui's place!

Just to recap of what was left behind and claimed to be picked up at the party:

1 pretty in pink bikini top
1 pair of blue swim trunks
2 pairs of matching black and white striped speedos
1 leopard print bikini top and bottom - claimed by Moonie
3 lampshades somewhat squashed
1 brown spotted sundress - claimed by Buzz
5 pairs of sunglasses
2 pet collars red and blue - claimed by Socks and Spooky!

1 tabby striped male kitty - who snores very loudly

New finds include:

1 pair of black thong panties
1 zebra print speedo
1 tiger striped one piece swimsuit
3 swim trunks - black, brown and white

The following additions were found by Maui and she is in search of their owners!

1 uniform - err valet outfit
1 uniform - err cabana boy outfit
1 uniform - err chef outfit and matching hat

Shadow - and please do not allow anyone to scare Buster, she is very sweet, shy and cannot get upset or she might have a seizure and that would just ruin the fun. And please make sure to unhook her from the wagon, so she's not tied up all night.
 
Latte heard there was a party coming soon! She asked if she could wear her pink dress. I told her I got a new one for her and it would be ok! (can you believe Im encouraging that?!). She also asked if you had a bathroom...she said she was not feeling up to bringing her throne. But the bathtub...that would be good to lean against. I said I had to ask....tubs are often heavier to transport than pianos and thrones, ya know!

I hope you feel good about staying home this weekend. It sounds like a good choice was made. You could have a weekend slumber party, ya know?!

Hey, how is Shadows neck? Is it looking better?

Sorry you have to keep going up and down in dose. I know that has to be so frustrating, especially after the recent string of good numbers. Maybe the party will help perk him uup! :D

Latte, you can borrow the wagon, once it gets emptied out, you may find that comfy to sit in and watch the happenings - oh and you can lean against that snoring kitty that so far nobody is claiming!
