Can't believe it's been 5 days since I posted, life just won't slow down for me. Jack is all over, I probably screwed him up yesterday with less insulin and and higher carbs, but I ended up having to run to the city and had no one to check on him, so he was in the 300's when I got back yesterday evening. He seems to be doing ok with it all today, I'm liking the numbers so far and we are back to the 10 units he was on. Still need to get more $$ together before his insulin resistance tests can be done, just a waiting game at this point. He has gotten used to being in the bathroom with Abby for a bit each morning, which my walls and door appreciate; he gets his regular low carb FF or Friskies with the phos-bind in the morning (of course with the kibble mix) and he eats the low carb urinary formula stuff with the phos-bind in the evening with everyone else (At which point Otis goes in the bathroom with Abby to get high carb food- no wonder she won't leave, she has constant company and a nice buffet of food...LOL)

Hope all of you are doing well, hoping to check in with everyone over the course of today. :bighug::bighug:

I hope life slows down some for you soon, although I'm glad things with the animals have gotten a bit smoother. I'm sure that helps a lot! Sending even calmer vibes your way. :bighug::bighug:
Abby is living her dream, apparently! :joyful:

Hi Christine, Sounds like Jack is doing well overall, we are so happy to hear that and of course he will recover from the one day of higher carbs. He's already having a nice day coasting along.
Wishing Jack and all your sweet kitties a great day and hope things calm down for you. Sending you warm hugs, Christine :bighug::bighug::bighug:

It's good to hear from you, Christine. It's a blessing the cats have settled a bit with the eating arrangements and Jack seems like he's rolling right along nicely. I hope things settle down a bit for you. :bighug:
