Tiger looks good for an increase. I would take him up to 3U.
Do you have a meter to verify lower readings and will he let you poke him?

Hi Deb, hope Tiger sees more blues. He looks so handsome in blue:cool:
Good luck when you increase. Stay safe, sweet Tiger :bighug::cat::bighug:

Ty Bhooma. I am hesitant to increase right now as I am taking meds and not able to stay awake when he drops. Last time at 3U he fell to 59. Tiger is impossible to get blood samples from as I have mentioned here many times. We do however, manually test at the vet when they change the libre and the manual reading is lower than the libre, which is opposite of what some others have experienced. I think yesterday was a bounce from the lower numbers he’s been having.

Hi Deb, we are also using the libre and I manage to test Binie from time to time on a human handheld but not always, as she is not a fan of the poking. My experience with Binie is, that there is no general rule, that the libre is lower than the handheld. If we see high numbers (350 to 500) the libre is actually (much) higher most of the time. If she is in the range between 100 and 250 and the arrow is straight it is very often similar. When she comes to the lower ranges (under 100) I usually check and very often she is higher on the handheld. But not always. A few weeks ago she had a massive drop and she was higher on the libre. This is my experience with Binie, maybe some of it also applys to Tiger. Good luck with the 2.75 and I hope you get well soon too! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks Heike! It seems like all cats are different with the Libre. I wish Tiger was easier to test. He just doesn’t give enough blood to test. Very interesting that Binie is different at different numbers.
