Wow, June already! It;s been six months since Ruperts dx. Not sure if we are any further ahead than we were back then, at least number wise,. cat-wise he's sleek and purry and VERY vocal this morning, yelling at us to get up at 5:30 doh!!! Looks like, maybe, the bounce is clearing already.. hope so, a pink this morning rather than the anticipated red and at least he spent quite a few hours yesterday in some nice colours.

Weather NOT at all summery here, grey and dismal and foggy. grrrr. oh well, one more day till the weekend. Work has been beyond annoying and less than fulfilling lately, weekends make it worthwhile! Farrier coming tomorrow to work on Rojo's feet. We've had to wait two weeks since we got him in order to allow the feet to grow a bit more so we'd have something to work with. I think he's going to be soooo much happier once we can get him even. Really amazes me how there can be so many farriers out there doing such crappy work! My guy very excited to sort Rojo out. Hopefully the weather will clear enough that we can at least hit the trails a bit on the weekend. He has his first show (a fairly important qualifying Class A show!) on June 15!! (I think we will just show him halter at this one since only two weeks work beforehand might just be pushing it! guess we'll see how things come together.

Hope everyone has a great day today and that all the kitties get together on the lower floors to plan the rest of the weekend together!

Re: 6/1 Rupert AMPS 342+2. 88 Hand back the diving crown!

HOLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! perhaps his biggest dive yet? grr ohmygod_smile

himself is in the primo spot on the couch, napping and purring, unphased at all. Gonna give him a snack, get ready for work, and test as I run out the door, will probably scoot back at about +4.5 to check on him. good grief. why does he have to be SUCH a drama queen!

Hi guys .. well I couldn't say it any better then MJ's picture  What a crazy dive .. and happy 6 month anniversary .. numbers will come in time, but it's nice to hear rupert is feeling pretty good regardless of his color! Hope the farrier can do some magic on rojo's feet! Have a great weekend!

Re: 6/1 Rupert AMPS 342,+2.5 88 +4 82

surfing the green at the moment! fingers crossed he stays there a while.... wanna start the betting pool on the bounce number we get tonight????

Re: 6/1 Rupert AMPS 342,+2.5 88,+4 82 +6.5 109

okay, sneaking up to blue for +6.5 ... suspect beginning of bounce in progress ohmygod_smile hopefully he'll prove me wrong, he likes to do that! I'm gonna guess 375 for his PMPS though.... place your bets...

Re: 6/1 Rupert AMPS 342,+2.5 88,+4 82 +6.5 109 PMPS 237

well, as usual.. Rupert makes me look like a nitwit! but I"m okay with it! nice yellow for PMPS.. maybe we can stop the bounce before it happens??? probably not but wishful thinking on my part!!!!

Re: 6/1 Rupert AMPS 342,+2.5 88,+4 82 +6.5 109 PMPS 237

Wow that was one big ole dive he took this morning.

I bet his +2 will be 276 to 280 :)

How come Rojo's feet were so short?

Re: 6/1 Rupert AMPS 342,+2.5 88,+4 82 +6.5 109 PMPS 237

Hey Dyana, Rojo's feet weren't short, they were just trimmed so very badly and unlevel.. like you were walking with one high heel, and one sneaker! so we had to wait three weeks for the feet to grow so we had something to work with, the tall one will be okay, it's the shorter one that needed a bit more room so we'd have something to trim and level! it's amazing he's not lame...but he's just 'uneven', and smart enough to know not to run around too much and tweak anything. I"m anticipating a much more animated Rojo next time I turn him out in the field after his feet are fixed!!

Hoping Rupie stays in the yellows tonight so your 276 guess would be good!

Re: 6/1 Rupert AMPS 342,+2.5 88,+4 82 +6.5 109 PMPS 237

That last bounce was only 1 cycle. :-D I hope that is a new trend. That is interesting about Rojo's feet. That's got to feel better.

Oh my, so like someone trimmed 3 feet and forgot the 4th?

I hope Rupert doesn't bounce too much and you have a nice night.

Re: 6/1 Rupert AMPS 342,+2.5 88,+4 82 +6.5 109 PMPS 237

  WOW on today. Mannie may indeed need to forfeit his diving champion title.  I hope he doesn't bounce too much - stay steady Rupert! Enjoy your evening Pip. :-D :-D

Re: 6/1 Rupert PMPS 237 +2 160...yay??

ok.... I"m talking in a whisper here.. but dare I say it? did he clear the bounce already? +2 and back to blue?!!!or is he just taking a step or two backwards to get a really really good run at it??? He's never come down this quickly before??? sucking me in? or maybe we are finally getting somewhere? I hesitate to even try to figure out what's going on but I like it! I sure hope this is the start of a new trend??? he'll probably wake me tomorrow with a big fat red number... still.. the longer he stays down on these levels maybe the sooner his liver will figure out it's okay!

Re: 6/1 Rupert AMPS 342,+2.5 88,+4 82 +6.5 109 PMPS 237

Sorry -- Gabby retains the crown. She's had pre-shots (both AM and PM) in the 400s and a nadir in the 40s -- earned a decrease. See Nov. 2, 2009 on her SS.

You may want to put the dose for your AM shot on your SS. Otherwise, the assumption is that you didn't shoot. If you shot the 142, that number becomes your AMPS. The 91 is your +12.

Re: 6/1 Rupert PMPS 237 +2 160...yay??

Pip, didn't you call something in a previous condo about Rupert saving it up for Friday night? I guess he read that bit. He's looking really good. Let's hope he's learning how to clear those bounces fast.

For range of motion, all Neko has is several days starting in the 500's and going to blue. Also a Hi (>600) going to low yellow. I'd much rather have your dive.

+5 and just hanging on to blue, probably a bounce in progress, will be interesting to see what he throws at me tomorrow morning. Probably bounce up to red, but a very nice day today for Rupie, he hasn't had a good day like this in quite a while!

off to bed now. hope everyone is having a great evening! thanx to everyone who visited Rupert's condo today!
