Happy Caturday LL

Well it was 5 weeks ago this morning that Monique gave us the go ahead to skip a shot and start our OTJ trial.
I cannot believe how fast the time has gone.

Max is a very changed kitty. You could see the smile in his face.
he takes his naps in his usual places still but he is so much more up and about.
Now he comes to the kitchen for his food and is no longer "served in bed" or on his chair.
I still need to get him to lose some weight and when I remember I mark the cans that he should be fed from so I know how much he has eaten.

I still need to schedule a vet visit and get new blood tests and show off to the vet how amazing he has become.
We are down to testing him about once a day, I am still too nervous to miss something,
and his favourite number is 59.
I pick him up at night to bring him to bed and he wraps is paws around my neck
like a baby and gives out a little squeel.
I just love himto bits and still cannot believe that he is off insulin.

Max misses all of his friends here and I do tell him lots of stories.
He is looking forward to seeing everyone at Scrabble's party tomorrow, then Tugger.

5 weeks already? Time flies when your on long term vacation eh Max? :mrgreen:

That is so cute that he wraps his paws around your neck....so sweet! We get so close to our sugarbabies, don't we? And they to us....really! So happy for you both! :mrgreen:
Will Max be picking up Logan for the party tomorrow? Not that he needs that special attention so much anymore, but I think they all enjoy doing that...Raja is waiting to see you both and is dusting off Logan's throne. Thank you for the super report...see you guys tomorrow! :YMHUG:
 
Max the wonder cat. 5 weeks, wow. He has one of the most amazing runs down the dosing scale that I've ever seen, I kept rubbing my eyes when you'd post his new numbers on less and less insulin. Huh? Could this be for real? YES! Max is the real deal. Many hugs to you Randi, you were just as amazing as Max.
 
Hey Max! So great to hear from you, man! Getting in lots more exercise, huh? Good job! And testing at 59. I wish you would send me your secret!!! We are all truckin' along here in LL. Tomorrow is Scrabble's OTJ party and the next day is Tugger's. We hear that you have scouted out condos for them near your place. That's great, and you will be a great tour guide to the Falls. See you at the parties.

P.S. My mamabean ran out of my favorite food and has to go to Plattsburgh today. She'll be in touch with your mamabean about the next shopping excursion.
 
Miss You so much, but nothing makes me Happier than seeing this wonderful message--Moonie still loves Max & sees him at the parties--He has a special place in our hearts always as do you Randi!!--Keep enjoying the Falls dear friends--WE are SO happy for you--GIANT HUGS~! :mrgreen:

59 is a fabulous number!!!!!!
I am sure I will still be testing every day too for a while just to make sure!

Randi & Max - how heartwarming your update report is. Makes my Caturday! I too cannot believe how fast 5 weeks have gone by let alone 2010 is almost 1/2 over. We are so happy for you & Max and cannot wait for you to report after you vet re-check. Can you get it on video tape, :lol: ?? You two are a real inspiration to the rest of us. Thank you for being so caring & sharing.

5 weeks already? Congratulations!!!!!! And thanks so much for sticking around, it is greatly, greatly appreciated (you have no idea how much!).

Was so excited to see your condo. I know we're still Falls neighbors and all but Hank doesn't see enough of Max. Promise we'll make a pool date for them soon and us beans can come and drink margarita's while they lounge. We miss you guys.
How 'bout at least a weekly guys night out?

So proud of Max for learning to come for his own food again...good for you. We're still working on that one some. Hank will come, but not often enough and i still have to sometime bring it to remind him if it's been a few hours.
And proud of you that you are down to testing but once a day. And what an average....Max has always been a show off.
i hope you are loving the freedom of living off the clock.

OMG, has it been 5 weeks? 'Cause that means for us too. I can't believe it...just doesn't feel that long. Congrats!

I love hearing how great he is doing and about all the love and gratitude he is showing you, hugging your neck like that. What a great payoff for all your hard work. All sounds Awesome with our fellow whiska-teer! cat_pet_icon

now that he comes for his own food - is he willing to serve the food - Maui still needs a valet, butler, pool boy....hint hint....congrats! 5 weeks - time sure flies
 
5 Weeks!! Congratulations, Randi & Max! Awesomely amazing, I am sooooo happy for the two of you, he just is doing fantastic!! Way to go momma & Happy Mothers Day Weekend to you too :mrgreen:
 
Seems like Max knew that he had a condo today.
My goodness was he frisky.
DD and I had a whole role of fabric laid out on the kitchen floor (we need to make fly for school) and here comes Max to lie right on top of it.
Then he decided to get under it. As if he was a kitten. :-D
Then my other DD ex-boyfriend came over and there is Max, snugdled and nuzzling
in his lap.
I'll tell you, we had a lot of laughs with him today.
 
Wow 5 weeks has gone by fast.....I am so happy that Max is OTJ but I really miss you in the early mornings.
I love the Max report....he is so cute. cat_pet_icon
