Cinco's appetite has been good again today, although he's not quite as voracious as he seemed yesterday. He took his time with his second breakfast, leaving a couple of bites on the plate. He just completed his +6 snack, then turned and polished off those remaining bites of breakfast. He's had a quiet day, relaxing in the living room. Probably worn out from waking the household at 4:36 am with his hollering!!!!  No particular reason that we could find. I know that, being blind, he can't tell the difference between day and night, but Geez!!! We have got to find a way to break him of this habit. He has such a healthy set of lungs that there's no way to sleep through that!
Sasha seems much improved this morning - I think the benadryl really helps. I got her meds down here with minimal struggle. She actually likes the cat sack, once she's in it. After she'd had her pills, I unzipped it and undid the collar, and she just laid there in it, on my lap, and purred! Nice to know she wasn't upset about the ordeal of being pilled! I spent a good five minutes loving on her before she decided it was time to move on.
We are overcast, cool and windy today. There's a slight chance of showers, but I'm not holding my breath. Tomorrow starts the warm up, and they're saying we could hit 99 by mid-week! ICK!!!! Not looking forward to that. Indoor projects today, but tomorrow I must get out and deadhead the roses and tackle the weeds and suckers that have come back with a vengeance since my last attack on them.
Sending healing vines to all in need, and hugs to all their beans. :YMHUG: Special vines and prayers to Rich as his Rex is losing his battle with CKD. :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:
