Rain is due for her PM shot in about 30 minutes, however we're currently having eating issues. I opened a new bag of her hydrolyzed protein food last night, and it apparently doesn't smell right to her so with the exception of a little canned tuna around 4 this afternoon and some syringe fed A/D around 5:30, she's not eaten anything since last night. She vomited bile this morning and I gave her a dose of Cerenia. We just got home and she still shows no signs of being interested in her normal food, or any of the other foods that I have available. I'm going to try some more tuna, and will likely syringe feed some more A/D tonight, as well as give a dose of Mirtazapine, but I'm hesitant to give her any insulin with her not eating, especially since I'm not sure I can stay awake to monitor her through her nadir. Anyone have any advice on whether or not to give her a shot tonight?
