Hello,
Djoko has been a but weird in the last few days. He slept in the garage, now chilling on the treadmill, chilled on a yoga mat in the basement. What is odd is that he had never spend time in these places before so it is a bit surprising... At least, his appetite has been great.
As soon as he gets the e-collar off, he but grooms himself compulsively.
Dentist specialist said I could remove the e-collar. It has been 10 days. I was reluctant because Djoko scratches himself a lot (the tumor seems to be very itchy) and rubs his mouth with his paws. I asked her for a second time and she said it was OK. He does not have it on at the moment. I hope this is the good decision
I also asked her whether Antirobe (antibiotics clindamycine) was tough on the kidneys and she said that if medicating djoko stress both me and the cat (thank you for saying that!), I could stop as it has been 10 days already.
Question: Should I continue the antibiotics another 4 days (for 14 days in total) or stop now? At recheck, she said he was healing well but I trust you more.
