WCR: GPS needed for 2 a.m. snack, 4 a.m. was an independent adventure! After guided snack Spot did come for another visit and was just starting to settle into a nice comfortable purr when the thunder and lightning started and drooler got nervous and sent Spot back to the living room where he was able to get comfortable to snooze.

Started administering the Glen/Haven T/G gel on gums again. I did this the other night and tested him shortly after and found that there were no effects on his bg's. Must have been the slight infection in his gums that caused the higher bg's a few weeks ago. He is not a happy camper grumpy_cat let me tell you, lol. He absolutely does not like his mouth touched at all. I am seriously thinking that I will ask for all teeth to be pulled at his next dental. He has so much trouble with his teeth and really doesn't need to chew much...gets wet food, fishy flakes, and freezed dried treats which can be put into very small pieces.

Well, gotta run. Pile of stuff on my desk is getting smaller but if I continue to visit condo's it will cease to do so! Have a wonderful Fursday Lantus Land! Happy thoughts to our Kitties who are nearing their OTJ trial, Happy birthday and anniversery to Moonie, Copper, Roni & DH party_cat , prayers and healing vines to our kitties who are not feeling well o:-) , and Fly Free vines and Hugs to Francine, who sadly had to help her beloved Chachi cross the bridge last night rb_icon I will be thinking of you all today.

Hi Deb and Spot what a nice ambg!!!! Scrabble hopes to see Spot at Moonie's party tonight! Poor Spot with his bad teeth! Hope you have a great day Deb, don't work too hard!!!

Spot, my Man!
Why do our Mama's want to look in our mouths anyway, eh?
Do what I do....I purse my lips very tightly....like I am going to kiss someone.
Know what I mean?
Anyway, this works real good!! (except that my Mama starts laughing SO hard when i do that....don't know why....it is NOT a laughing matter at all! She really laughs at me....)
This is MY mouth and it is private. It's a private part....don't these Beans understand that?
Good luck and try what I said...purse your lips tightly and put your chin up in the air...
your friend
Shad-O

ps. My Mama is putting some stuff in our food....ProDen Plaque Off for Animals and she says she hopes the darn stuff works cause I get bad stuff on my toofs. I don't taste it at all and neither does Raja....if it was bad she would know cause she is smart.

Re: 5/6 Deb's Spot pmbg ~ 103

This shows me how carb sensitive Spot is...he had a few bites of deli ham about half an hour ago. At least I know that is why he's in the blue now!

Pat, I'm going to check out that stuff you are giving your guys. Dian told me about some stuff she puts in the water, but since Spot doesn't really drink much water, I figured that would be a waste of time and money. If you put this stuff int he food, well, it may be worth a try. When did you start using it and have you seen any change?

Spot sez: i can purse my lips with the best of them my friend...and twist and turn and all that stuff but she still manages to get that stuff in my moufh. She doesn't laugh at me either, no matter how cutez I try to look. But she does give me some snackies after it's all over!!

I tries something similar. may be same stuff. split it with my sister and it did nothing. the liquid stuff, I think, can be spritzed in mouth also but I do not know if it really works or not. only one that is a water guzzler here is cal

The Pro Den PlaqueOff is seaweed based....it's dried stuff you sprinkle on the food with the most adorable little scoop that was included....so tiny and well, adorable! LOL! They say on the bottle that results can been seen in 3-8 weeks. (Or in MY case.. n e v e r cause I can't get into his mouth LOL)
I ordered it through "Entirely Pets" after clicking on the box at the top of this page "Donate-Subscribe-Shop"
and clicking yellow box for affiliates. I have only been using it since Saturday....

I am really hoping it does something cause Shadow really gets a lot of plaque buildup. I don't see how it can possibly do anything. LOL. But it was the easiest thing to add to the food and well, I am game! My two don't drink water so that option is out. I thought of trying the brushing but I am too old for that ...and so are they.
LOL. I shouldn't say that cause I believe that it is the best thing to do for them...but....well, I just haven't gotten around to trying it. I did see a video on doing the brushing. It was awesome. Did you ever see that?
It talks about introducing the toothpaste slowly over time and then the brush and then the actual brushing. It was very good...but showed that it was a slow process...4 weeks...

Hey Spotty, All this commotion about your teeth! My mamabean never even looks at my teeth (unless I yawn and she happens to be around). You know what's good for sweet breath? weeds! Go try some, man! See you at Moonie's party. I know she's waiting to dance with you, and you don't want to disappoint the birthday girl!
