Here my post of yesterday

Noah had a vet check where we inject him to stop vomiting so yesterday because he didn’t eat I gave him a token dose . this morning he ate a almost normal portion of food so I gave him 1 unit (still less than the normal dose he used to take that was 1.25 unit)
And he dropped now at 1.8! I manage to give him some liquid food now .. but is appetite is not that much … what shall I do?
I’m not sure why he dropped so low since I gave him already a reduction this morning

and now I’m very confused.. he gained a reduction on top of the reduction I already gave him this morning ?

what is a good number that you would think to shoot 0.75. If I see any number after 3 of glucose ? tonighr im working in a restaurant close to home until midnight (+4 for him) so I’m coming home during my break for the injection but then I will finish work for his +4

I can update you with the preshoot number of tonight to see if we can give him 0.75 unit

Not really with such a short notice
I can leave the automatic feeder but because he has stomach problem at the moment if u don’t feed him he may not go and search for food , I just give him the probiotics and the celenia tablet for his vomit

He is 4 after 20 minutes … I give again food? I can test last time in 20 minutes to make sure he is going up so I can leave … what u think? And then I update u later with the preshoot number to understand which dose to give him .

Give him another snack of low carb and test again in 20 minutes. Hopefully he will be on the way up again.

Regarding the next shot…I think I would see how well he is eating before deciding to give the dose. If he eats well, I think you could give the 0.75U providing he hasn’t dropped again. And you will be back by +4 won’t you?
It’s a bit early for @tiffmaxee to be online yet and I don’t know what has happened to @Bandit's Mom. Hopefully she will come back online soon.

Ok. You did well managing the low numbers. can you remove the 911 please and when you post with the preshot BG you will need to change the subject line to get attention.
I see you have removed the 911 thanks.
 
I agree with Bron, I would try 0.75 units. Some cats will show a stronger reaction after a skip/reduced dose, and the 1.25 unit depot could still be partly in play. 0.75 may be too much of a reduction, but OK to start there. If you are worried about tonight, you can leave medium carb food out for him to eat.

We don't dose based on preshots. What will be more important is whether he still has a good appetite tonight. The Cerenia he got last night will have worn off, so I'm hoping he's better and eating on his own.
 
UPDATE

noah pre shoot number was 6.2. Since he ate almost nothing I gave him 0.50 unit . I can now just take a +5 as I’m working until then but I left food for him
Hopefully he will not drop too low while I’m not at home

A favour to ask of you, well actually, two of them of a housekeeping nature. First, could you change your subject line to show the PMPS value, and remove that he's at 1.8. That's rather alarming for anyone who speaks "world" numbers scanning the headings on this forum.

Second, you are going to get more/better help if you converse in "american" mg/dL for blood sugar readings. This forum is hosted in the US, and a lot of people who help with dosing are in the US, so our common convention is to use the US numbers. Your US spreadsheet should automatically convert most readings for you. It's just a multiplying the World BG number by 18. It also means making sure the US version of the SS has the correct values, as those of us helping with dose open the spreadsheet as the first thing we do.
