I really wish I wasn't seeing so much black on his sheet, but he does go into blues...and even into greens... so I'm hesitant to increase until I've done a proper curve again...which I'll try again on Sat. At least got his 5/5 AM number as well (yay!). Let me tell you I have tried all the vendors to get the Liv a little's here....hold onto your seats, it was going to cost me US$100 for two canisters (cough). My wonderful neighbour's son lives in the States, and he is trying to see if he can get them here any cheaper (the shipping is just ridiculous)...so bonito flakes it is for now

So by reading the notes on your ss, I am deducting that he's still been getting some dry food up until two days ago? If so, that could definitely be why he's bouncing around so much with his numbers. It could take a week or two for things to settle down, so stick with the low-carb canned and see what happens. We switched to canned a few days before we started insulin, and it still took about 2 weeks on the same dose before he really started to settle with his numbers.

Also, are you testing for ketones? With numbers that high I remember being told to test for those. By the time I had some strips (small town, and pharmacy was out of them), my Max's numbers had settled down low enough that they weren't a concern.
