5/4 Max amps 294 +3 470 +4 533

So this is either a bounce, NDW or the antibodies that took over. I cannot do anything but cry. This is like fighting a losing battle. Max has so many things going against him just like many other cats do here. The problem is I don’t know how to help him. I’m just imagining what this is doing to his body. I wish I could take it all away. I don’t expect any answers, just venting. I really don’t know how y’all do it. I don’t.:arghh::arghh::arghh:

The children are not even here yet. I will put him upstairs when they get here as usual, so stress won’t add to his problem.

Sorry for the late reply. You are two shots into 7.0 units, let's hold for six at least and see how he does. Then move to 0.5 unit increases if no greens.

For bupe and ondasetron, I gave ondasetron first, about 20 minutes before dinner so she'd eat. Bupe came after dinner as it's better with something in the tummy.

Likely not NDW in the first cycle. His IAA was so close to normal that I would consider that a major factor. Glucose toxicity could be a factor as it's been a week since he saw green. Bounce is also a possibility for the same reason. You are doing what you can Lori. Looking after an acrocat post SRT is a challenge. You are doing what you can and there is only so much you can control.:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you Wendy. I really appreciate that. It’s definitely a challenge, that’s very true. It’s like one day I feel like I see some progress, then the next I feel like we’re back to square one. On those hard days I have to keep reminding myself that he’s not a project or something I can fix, he’s still my sweet cat Max. I will hold him where he is like you recommended and see what happens.:)
