? 5/31 TR going well-OTJ soon?

Hi Rebeka, Shadow is indeed looking great! :D

There is one more dose below 0.25U which is 0.10U. After that it, is the OTJ trial. To ensure a strong remission, we taper off the insulin rather than stop it abruptly.

It might be very difficult to measure 0.10U with syringes that do not have half unit markings. You could try a "drop dose" for a few days instead. To measure a drop dose, push the plunger of the empty syringe in fully, keep it pressed and insert in the pen. Let go of the pressure on the plunger and it will draw a drop. When you insert the needle into Shadow, push the plunger and count to 10 if he will let you.

Thankyou. When should I start drop dose? Instead of “pen” I presume I read vial in my case?

I would call June 1st day 7 of says days in green, so the reduction starts after that. You could try the 0.1 unit dose, it's just a hair over the zero line. Another method is to count the number of drops in your 0.25 units dose and do half that many. To count drops, fill a syringe with coloured liquid, then twist the plunger so you get even sized drops out. To get 0.1 units, you fill to what you were doing for 0.25 units and twist out half the drops.
