5/3 Sara AMPS~110

Morning,

WCR Sara is doing very well. I looked back a I found that her pen is almost 3 months old. [did'nt realize that much time had gone by]

I was surprised that she has green on this insulin. And overall her #'s have'nt been bad. I did'nt want to change the pen this am as I am of to tbp. I'd rather be home. So tonight I will open a new one.

Wow! I wonder if it is expired/ineffective and maybe she was doing a lot of it on her own? I am hoping anyway!

Well, I chickened out on opening a new pen with the 85. I did'nt want to use the same dose with insulin that is a lot more potent than what I had on this #.

Is it possible that this pen has any effectiveness left?

I'll ask about this in the morning.

Hi Jan and Sara, well I have heard of people using their insulin that long, I changed mine every 30 days just out of sheer scaredy catness lol!!! I would change it when you are home to monitor! Hope you have a good night!! Nice pmps!
