Last condo: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=15322&p=153102#p153102
I wasn't sure about opening a condo, because I don't really have any good news to post. I have been worried about him this week. He is very tired and very weak. He's unsteady on his feet. He hasn't been eating much on his own while I am at work, though he tries to make an effort when I encourage him. He feels a bit thin, and he has lost some weight. He is still balding and having frequent focal seizures. He doesn't really get out of bed except to go to his litter box (bless his little heart for trying), to drink water, nibble at food, or move to another bed. He seems to be in decline. I am wondering about his potassium, his anemia, and his renal values. The vet is coming for a house call next week to do blood work and urine cultures on Bear, Emily, and Teddy.
After he dropped to 36 last week, his dose was reduced to .25 U (down from .5). He is getting a lot of blue on that dose, and I skipped shots twice as he was too low at preshot for my comfort. I really don't want to stress him by going too low and needing a few cans of gravy to come back up. He has lost interest in his renal kibbles, and has held out a couple of times for some evil high phosphorus Evo, his old beloved kibble. I haven't taken him outside in the garden or in his stroller, as it has been so hot here. He doesn't like the heat. In fact, he has been lying in the cat bed next to the air conditioning vent!
I don't have any recent photos to share, so this week's photo is an oldtimer from better days. This used to be our signature photo on the old board.
