Hi there,

What kind of food are you feeding Mocha? I'm wondering if you're getting inconsistent readings from day-to-day is because of carbohydrate intakes? More carbs...BG raises...no carbs...BG lowers and is more stable. Recently, I experimented with different high protein, no/low carb wet cat foods and was impressed at how just a little added carb to the canned food made my cat's BG raise immediately. Food for thought (pun intended!)

we feed mocha wal mart brand special kitty turkey and giblets. I try to always feed her the same amount when she get's her snacks, and the nighttime autofeeder is always set for the same time each night, with the same amount of food in each bowl. I don't know why she won't become regulated .... she does this to bug me ... just like when she insists on "running" her paws up and down my corner hutch ... she KNOWS it drives me crazy!

My plans for today were to go up to my sisters house and help her start packing up .. but I told her I couldn't leave mocha for that many hours with her being this low this morning .. I see now however she isn't doing any major dropping ... yet ...

Yup! These kitties sure like to keep us guessing! I wasn't getting anywhere with Morris using the timed feeder to regulate his food intake/times, so I have been allowing him to 'free feed' for the past while to compare the differences.....still no where close to getting him regulated! I am thinking of trying the auto feeder again in the near future.....maybe I just need to adjust the times the feeder was set to. How often do you give Mocha snacks?

Nice numbers for Mocha. I think this needs to be renamed "Low BG Moon" the numbers are dropping all over the place.
