Good Morning Everyone,

Following Libby's suggestion I fattened Rusty's dose this morning to what I hope was a fat 0.75. I hope it will help him get back down to his usual numbers. He has lost momentum. We all had a good night, woke up to kitty kisses and Rusty giving himself a noisy bath! Good test, shot and 2 sittings of breakfast. DH is getting ready to take Rusty out in the garden. We have sun this morning!!!

Yesterday's drive down to camp and to Paddlefest was fine, but we had some tremendous thunderstorms with hail-like rain. The cabin looks good and it is now all ready for Rusty. There was mouse sign, so he should have lots there to interest him. (He's not allowed outside at camp because there are too many predators and also tourists' dogs running around, but he'll enjoy the screened porch.)

Paddlefest was fun. We didn't try out any boats, but saw many friends there and enjoyed seeing what is new in paddling (the big "hit" this year, especially with kids, is the paddle-board: a wide surfboard that you paddle with a long paddle. There was a guy paddling one in the 90-mile race last fall. This year I think we'll see them all over the place).

Just got finished bailing in the cellar. It's as bad as ever because we keep having these downpours that keep the water table high. I have to buy some more sponges today--replacing them as they rot out from the water and mud. The weather forecast for the week ahead continues "unsettled".

Everyone have a good day. We are sending thoughts of comfort to MJ and Linda and healing vines to all kitties and beans who can use some help.

Morning Ella and Rusty and good luck on the new dose and hoping this helps Rusty get momentum back soon. Sorry about the thunderstorms on your ride to the camp. I sure hope it stops raining. That is so awful about your cellar. The kitties will be back out to help Rusty bail water. Take care and scritches to Rusty

What a nice update this morning! I'm glad you had a good trip out, though I'm sure you could have done without storms and hail. I think that cellar is going to be the death of you!!! The neverending rising water!!

Have a great Sunday....don't work too hard!

Re: 5/22 Rusty AMPS 138

Not a bad AMPS for Rusty, so I hope the new dose does the trick.

Paddle fest sounds like it was fun. I'm glad you could getr away without worry.

Hi again, everyone,
This has been a busy day of chores. We decided to do yard work before it began to rain again (we made it!). Mowed the "lawn", planted the window boxes with impatiens, and planted some basil and rosemary. Rusty had a green day. The added drop certainly brought him down. He was even low at PMPS, but I shot the new amount anyway, thinking onset won't be for 5 hours or so. He's been sacked out all afternoon (except for snacks) and is back asleep again now. He'll bear some watching and I may not get to bed on time! Rusty had an exciting morning: chased a squirrel and had a visit from Shadow (a stand off).
The cellar is truly a mess. We are getting concerned. This evening I rescued an earth worm that was drowning in a corner!

Finally off now to visit condos. Enjoy your evening, everyone,

Ella & Rusty

What a great day for everyone! SUN!! YAY on that! I am glad Rusty got some activity in with that squirrel chasing, He will have to come and show Mannie how it is done. he sits there are just stares. some watch cat. Kudos to you on the plantings. I still need to do that... impatiens - my all time favorite.

Nice on Rusty's numbers - seems that the fattened dose did the trick. Greens for Rusty! I hope he has a decent evening. Stay green Rusty, but not too low, OK?

very nice on paddlefest - time away must have been good - good too to see friends.

I am sorry on the state of your cellar. I wish I had helpful advice. I pray for dry weather.

:o :o :o That is horrifying! (((Ella)))

I'm glad that Rusty is doing so well despite the apocolypse in your basement.

Wow i don't think i have ever posted in Rusty's condo before Linda and i didn't realize you were still fighting with the flooding in your basement... :o plus rain, rain and more rain....sounds like anyway.

I'm glad Rusty had a green afternoon and chased a squirrel. Ahhh the cat life...spent napping and playing, must be nice!

Looks like the dosecrease is doing great!

Hopefully Rusty doesn't go too low and you get some shut eye, have a great evening!

nice PMPS.

Sorry about the flood. It takes a lot longer for the water to go away than it does for it to appear, doesn't it?

Thank you, Libby, for suggesting the dosecrease!! I hope we have a surf going here. I fed him his bedtime snack (1 teasp. FF T&G) and put out his nighttime food (about 2 oz. of Wellness turkey) to graze on (as is his custom). Ni ni. We are all exhausted. The rain has stopped for the time being. The peepers are very loud tonight.

gosh i can't believe your cellar is still flooding, ella! that's so awful - i hope this weather turns for you and lets you dry out!

your cabin sounds like so much fun! i'm sure rusty loves the screened in porch. is this a place that you've had a long time? do you go for the whole summer or go back and forth to your regular place?

impatiens are my favorites too - i usually do window boxes of them and trailing lobelia, but in our remodel over the winter we took out those kitchen windows and replaced them with a giant one and it's not going to work to have a window box there any more. i'll have to get some in pots and do it quickly!
