Last week's condo
WCR: Sleeping lots, purring me awake in the mornings and from evening naps, is hopeful for treats anytime she catches me looking at her, and has been getting more outside time now that the weather has warmed up again. She really enjoys her outside time, although she really do much outside besides lie on her blankie and look around. But we can tell it really lifts her spirits. She waits for us at the top of the stairs every evening, and hops down and out as soon as the door opens.
We did go on a couple of strolls this week, and one evening she hissed at this poor kitty looking out of his window  I had to remind her that he's in his home and has every right to be looking out of his window.
Our exciting news for this week is that she's been eating her 1/2 oz lunch by herself. Tuesday through Friday, we came home to an empty lunch bowl. We're very encouraged by this.
Weight loss program seems to be going well. She's lost 3% in three weeks, which was a little more than I'd expected, considering that I've only reduced her food 1/8 oz, and her treats by a little too. I think I'll keep her calorie intake at this level for a couple more weeks and see where we are before I reduce further. She's now down to about 101 calories of food, or about 2-1/4 to 2-1/2 oz, and some treats, per day. She's taken to it pretty well as long as I don't remind her that a diet means less food (which she absolutely doesn't mind) and less treats (oh, the horror!)
Daddybean has resumed syringe-feeding on the floor. She is behaving much better with him behind her; he thinks she's spooked when he's in front of her because he's staring her directly in the face. She doesn't always behave when she's being fed, and I do worry about aspiration pneumonia on days when she struggles (usually in the morning). But when she's good, she's very very good.

I spoke too soon about her nice fur last week. It started looking a little spikey again this week, so she got a good brushing this morning while she was outside. It doesn't look too bad now that she's brushed, but the bean has to be more diligent. The bean has been slacking in the kitty grooming dept lately
We're very excited to see so many longtimer friends posting today, and we're hoping to lurk in some condos to catch up on news. This bean has been lurking more than posting because she hasn't had much of anything intelligent or inspiring to say
eta: she's just finished her last feeding for the night, and now she's hopped on the kitty tower
eta2: and even spent a few minutes on the top shelf!
