Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) (DGS fuel, Please!), and Happy Wednesday!
L! It's is I, Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista! HEY! I am so glad that I have Mannie's espresso recipe book, he made such GOOD STUFF! Thanks Mannie! In so give up on the newbies... ROOKIES! Last night they made got tit all mixed up! ground the ice cream and froze the beans. One cannot get good help these days, and then! the forgot to put the lids on the grinders, so well... stuff was everywhere. Even I, in my rookie days, wasn't at bad. They is so silly. Well, thet did clean up.... so. well. anyways. onwards! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and triple shot espressos, with beans from Hawaiian coffee plantations: Hawaii Ka'u blend, AND.... for all Mannie's Mocha fans: Venti quad Irish cream infused white mocha, with hazelnut and caramel whip, garnished with caramelized nut clusters and white chocolate shavings. AND a dollop of caramel nut swirl ice cream .... YUM! Mannie made such good things! I am so glad I found his recipe book..... I wonder why he never added ice cream.... it is mega good.....

Yesterday was vet day for the newbies, and we survived vetty! Vet went ok. :-D  This is from last night's post: Bug does have a heart murmur, plus his rate was a little fast. So, in a few months I will take him into Mannie's cardio vet and get a a baseline done on him. it is the only way to tell if there is an issue, or not. Cats can live with murmurs and have no problems so we will hope that is the case with him, and that the fast heart beat was just due to vet stress. If not, and there is an issue then we can go from there. She did say that he has apparently been a stray, active tom for most of his 5 years. She can tell by his body structure (SOLID muscle), his jowls, and his reactions to being poked. Not too surprised. I could tell by his coat, and general appearance. amazing what a few days at home and some good brushing will do... What is great is that he is so mellow, even at the vet today, loves to cuddle and purr. :-D Lola has a URI: kitty cold, so she is on antibiotics for that. I suspected as much as she started sneezing early yesterday morning, consistently. Otherwise she is fine. She was so agitated there, but they won her over with that canned cheese junk. She loves it, so she left there happier, and looking for more cheese. LOL! All in all, a good visit.

On the home front: Elsa is doing very well with them. Last night at dinner she and Lola were nose to nose, sniffing, no hisses. Still both are wary, but this is progress! They all ate dinner together, CPC all around, naps followed, play time and not one hiss or evil eye... YAY!!! Today we see what Nicholas thinks of them, and what they think of him. Could be fun! I know he will be thrilled - not too sure on them. ;-)

Have a great day everyone. I am on Nicholas duty today. It will be a swim day, followed by whatever comes down the pike. As some DGS news: This past weekend he graduated to a big boy bed, took to it right off, hasn't looked back at that crib once. He stays in bed, for the most part, and no fall outs. They just grow up so fast! :-D

And kitties? THINK BLUE! THINK GREEN!

Morning Michelle
I'm glad the vet visit went well with only a couple little hitches. I hope they stay little hitches - Bug's murmur is a non issue and little sneezy Lola gets over her cold...without giving it to anyone else. Please give the newbies scritches from me! Very cool that there was play, nose to nose sniffing, no hiss or evil eye!! ;-) ;-) :-D Sounds like everyone is going to settle in nicely. I'm looking forward to hearing how they do with "The Fish".

Hey Elsa... you really do MochaMannie proud with his recipe book. Yummmmmyyyyy, mega good stuff this morning. I'm gigglling about your "help". You'll get them whipped into shape!

Have a great day! take good care.
Whoaaaaa Elsa, :You've got one big job with those newbies. They is mega silly. At least you've taught them to clean up when they make a mega mistake - that's progress   later dudette - ollie

Morning Michelle ~O) ~O) and what a great condo with the update on Lola and Bug's Vetty visits. Sounds like they are in good health and adjusting so well. Sounds positive with Elsa and Lola, too. Bugs's heart murmur can be followed up and Lola treated for her UTI. It's amazing how well they have adapted, too. I can't wait til Nicholas meets them. Congrats to Nicholas on the Big boy bed, how neat! Have a great time with him today swimming and the trail wherever you decide

Oh Elsa, Lil Bit, kitteh barista! So funny on the Rookies. It sounds like they are just not into it yet, but give them time, maybe lots of time. Thank you for the coffee and Espressos and ice cream drink. I clve all three.

Morning Mary ~O) ~O) ~O) oh me to on the vetty visit. and I so agree on those little hitches remaining little. I think they will. a big yes too on Lola not giving her cold to the rest of the lot! PAWS CROSSED!!!! ;-) I am very pleased with the integration here - it is as if they were raised together. How lucky I am!  No worries - I will be sure to report on how all goes with them when Nicholas meets them. 2 hours and counting before the meet and greet. :-D
Auntie Mary - you is mega kind! Mannie was so right - this job is the best! I loves it, and my customers. SWEET! I loves his recipe book, I know he left it out for me - what a cool dude, even from the Bridge. I dunno though on my help. I thinks they are hopeless.... Elsa, Lil BIT, kitten barista
OLLIE! DUDE! I knows.... they make usch a mess. and so so silly.... what to do withs them.... more training! at least they got the cleanup part down. WOOT! See ya later! ~~ Elsa, dudette

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) Hey - thanks! They are doing well, health concerns are typical I think: she will get over her cold, I just hope she doesn't pass it on. Bug will be OK too. I so agree on the adapting. I feel extremely lucky. it was as if they knew they were home - no issues for them from the get go. Elsa is coming around too, has set the rules, so good to go. THX on DGS: swim for sure, then we shall see what he wants and feels like. The bed thing is so great, isn't it?
Auntie Ann - I so know on them rookies! They just aren't ready to be baristas. But they have funs, so good to go I thinks. heeheehee on the time - they need LOTS! ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitten barista

Hi, Michelle, I'm so glad the three amigos are acclimating well with each other.
Enjoy your swim day with the Big-Boy-Fishie! That's so exciting about his new bed :-D .

Elsa, Thanks for the coffee ice cream drink! I helped myself to seconds ~ hope that's ok! It's amazing how quickly you took on the barista duties, and now you're calling the kiddos 'rookies!' Haha! I love it!!! :-D

Good Morning, Guys,

So happy to hear that the vetty visit was successful and that there are only a few, minor issues. The important thing is that they are home now with you, they are safe, they are happy. Who could ask for more? And Elsa is doing her part. Good girl, Elsa! Now for the next big introduction: the FISH! (the new kitties are lucky that he is out of the speed-racer phase and "the voice" phase). I'm sure that all will go well today. Enjoy your day with Nicholas. The pool will be great.

Elsa, Kitteh Barista, I don't know what we would do without your 10-hour energy ~O) and the triple espresso. Gets us through the day just great. Thank you. I hope that you can get your helpers trained this week. They just need a little supervision. Rusty will come over later and help you.

Hugs and scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Hi Elsa, I'll be over to show the rookies how to treat the kitchen utensils with respect! And then maybe the gang can get together and go to the beach. See you soon,
Rusty

Hi Michelle! Glad that everyone is integrating well! That is always nice when there is a new fur kid(s) added into the mix. Vettie visit sounds like it went ok. Lola's sniffles and UTI can be treated w/those wonderful AB's. Hope that Bug's heart murmur is a none issue. I guess cats are like humans in the aspect that it may not be much of anything. My brother has a murmur and there are quite a few of my consumers who have one and they have been trucking along for a very long time. Let's keep our fingers and paws crossed this is the situation. If not, well, Bug found the purrfect bean to car for him and to love him and keep him healthy.
I'm also glad that Lola is doing well too....and keeping Mannie's memory alive by continuing with the barista and gourmet coffee's and teas! Good girl Lola!
I am curious how Nicholas and the kitties will integrate today! I'm looking forward to seeing pictures and hearing stories! I hope you guys have fun today in whatever you do!!!

Hi guys .. so fun having new kitties in the house! I'm glad the vetty visit went well .. I sure hope that bug's heart murmur is nothing serious .. and that lolas URI goes away fast .. and yay for big boy beds!

HI everyone! Nichols and I have just returned from the pool - what a great time!! the energizer FISH was at it again. SO so busy, and he never wants to go home. He now has his eyes on the big tube water slides, and so wants to do them. Unfortunately he needs to grow a few more inches before he can. He and Lola and Bug were an instant success, new best friends!! It was so cool to watch. They met him at the door, he was all smiles and says: "BEST new kitties EVER!" You gotta love it. Those three played to gather for an hour before we left for the pool. Very cool.

HI Josie - Oh me too! and i like that: the three amigos! it fits. :-D Will do on the day - swim was a blast!
Auntie Josie - SWEET! I lubs the ice cream ting - Yum yum yum! heeheehee - seconds rule - and thirds! I always bring extra, Mannie said I should so I do. He knows everything, ya know... :-D oh yeah,... well yeah... they be rookies! Well, I think they are rookies and I think I am the master. Right? The do such silly things!!!! ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitten barista

Hi Ella - Oh yes on the vetty visit. It was good, and I see those issues as minor ones. Already Lola is getting better, sneezes are fewer. YAY! I so agree!!!:
The important thing is that they are home now with you, they are safe, they are happy. Who could ask for more?
And so true that we are no longer THE SPEED RACER and THE VOICE, though I suspect Lola would secretly like the speed racer part.  She has one speed: RUN! Meet and greet was a huge success.
Auntie Ella - that is what my bean said this morning: More 10 hour energy! SO I made LOTS! It must be mega good - she had three!!! Oh cool on Rusty - maybe they will listen to the wise one - Excellent! ~~ Elsa, Lil BIT, kitten barista
Rusty - DUDE! HURRY! They is out of control - hockey going on with the beans! They so need help with those utensils, - that is their hockey sticks!! :o :o not cool, not cool at all! ~Elsa

Hi Deb - THX for the visit!! Me too n the integration - so relieved there. I so agree on the medical stuff. I truly believe all will be well. YUPP, my fingers and paws are crossed. :-D Me too on out kitteh barista. amazing how that caught on - it was so Mannie, and Elsa so wants to to be a part of Mannie lore... so she keeps on dishing out the brews. Nicholas and the kitties did GREAT. Instant buddies - they both met him at the door, and the rest is history. New friendships are blooming.

HI Devon - it is just that: SO FUN! They are really great ones too: friendly, affectionate and fit right in here. WOOT! I think so too on the meds stuff, and the big boy bed? AWESOME!

WOO HOO!! Yeah for a successful meet and greet with Nicholas.
Love this: :-D :-D :-D
They met him at the door, he was all smiles and says: "BEST new kitties EVER!
Just think, once Nicholas grows a few more inches, you'll have an excuse to go down the big water slides yourself!

What a great report on the meet 'n greet! Yay for Nicholas, Bug, and Lola! (And I'm sure that Elsa was relieved that she could carry on with her new profession undisturbed for a while.) Have a great evening, guys!

:-D :-D

We still get a hiss now and then, but overall it's good for her too. ANd yes on teh big boy bed - that was their goal, to have him in it and staying in it before the new one. Yes, Erin does know what she is having - another boy. :-D

THX Amy - it's been a good day all-around.

Hey Michelle, just catching up on your condo. My puter kept freezing on me yesterday. I was waiting to hear on the "meet and greet" and so happy it all went over so well. :-D I think Lola and Bug sensed Nicholas's warm heart and love of felines. They know who is a pet lover. He will be having so much fun playing with them. Glad Elsa is all okay, too, and we all sure do love her talent with the coffee drinks. Have a good night.

Morning Ann - Bummer on the 'puter freeze. Hope that is all better. Oh me too on the meet and greet. it couldn't have gone better. I think too that they did sense his love for kitties - they know these things. I'm so glad Elsa is coming around too!

Hi Michelle, I was not around this week & you got new kitties! That's great! I'm so proud of you, brave woman! Glad all went well at the vet & they'd settle down nicely at home.
