I started a new Lantus pen this morning. The old one was nearly out of juice and with these numbers the last couple of days, I'm wondering if the pen was bad (it was a month old). I guess we will see what happens.

WCR: Buzz is feeling good today, I think. The sun is out after a few rainy days, and the temps are supposed to hit the low 90s this weekend. I'm off to a party in the park shortly (assuming Buzz cooperates) and maybe a barbecue later tonight. Buzz's civie brother, Cricket, threw up 3 times this morning, in 3 different locations. Luckily for me, none of them was on carpeting, but it was on a cat bed and on a CD of mine.

Hope the new cartridge does the trick, and that the civvie's tummy feels better now.

Hi Sarah, I hope that the new Lantus pen will work better for Buzz. Yuck about your civvie's vomit! Stu very considerately went out to eat grass and vomited in the grass, rather than waiting until he got back into the house.

Oh Sarah...is the CD ok? I got the hairball pukey on the carpet...not 2 inches from the tiled floor! :o Blech. Hope your boy Cricket is ok...
I hope Buzz enjoys the new pen ...new juice is always nice. LOL

And Sarah...Buzz said the nicest things to me in Shadow's condo. She really is a sweetie. Please give her a big HUG from me...you have done such a great job with her! I know that Shadow has been on the phone with her already, but I have to let you know that Thursday is the big Full Moon Party at our place. It is the Full Flower Moon of May so there will be flowers everywhere!! Lots to do so there will be lots of parties to get ready for the party...you know my two! :lol: Always an excuse to hang out with their buddies......Buzz is welcome anytime if she can come over....decorating parties are so much fun!

I would say the new pen is working! Now I am kicking myself for not having done it yesterday. It's hard to tell what is bounce and what might be other stuff at work. Oh well!

It certainly looks like the new pen is working. I've often not known that a pen was the cause for wonky numbers until I open a new one. I hope Buzz decides to give you a very lovely green day.

No more puking from Cricket, but he is acting a little strange. His appetite is good, though, so maybe he's just feeling under the weather today. I am definitely pleased with Buzz's numbers today. It sounds like most other kitties are having good days, too, hooray! :mrgreen:
