Asia is doing well with the TID schedule, she’s not going as high or staying high as long as she was before. It’s hard to know if the schedule change is what did it vs she is feeling better than she was, but the timing is uncanny. TID is not nearly as bad as I thought it would be, touch wood, it actually works out a bit better for me. It’s easier to monitor a shorter cycle and the timing is such that I can get out more without worry and get better sleep too. Seems counterintuitive but that’s how it’s worked out. She’s also been very predictable thus far, which I’m not used to, I hope this trend continues. It looks once again like we are starting over, as soon as she sees green she runs far away from it, I hope it doesn’t take too long for her to calm down from that.
She seems to be feeling a bit better as well, less pain for sure. I’ve cut back her bupe dose again, still more than before this incident, but less than just a few days ago. I’ve also been able to space out the dose from every 6-7 hours to every 8-10, so that is a good sign to me. She’s been happy and chatty and wanting to be where all the action is again too. Still nervous, not knowing what is going on and don’t think we are out of the woods yet, but progress.
It’s crazy busy time in the dance world and it’s going to stay that way for the next few weeks, lots of errands and appointments and preparations for the summer. Had a nice weekend trying to cram some family time in between the chaos. Went to a new place downtown to get earl grey ice cream (my fave tea), it was delicious and I don’t even like ice cream much.
