Hi Folks,

Suzie has had a calm day today. For the first time, a completely sloping day, no nadir, ending up nicely in the blues.

Today she ate more soft than dry food, so that could be it. 1 can FF in the morning, 3/4 can Applaws in the afternoon, and only about a handful of Purina diabetes dry, so that could account for the sloping numbers today, with no nadir. So she has been very good about transitioning today. I somehow feel she didn't eat so much today, but maybe she is reaching her normal weight after all that horrible weight loss and is slowing down her eating...

Am not complaining, nice to see the blues, just a little nervous for the night, somehow more comforting to go to sleep on slightly rising numbers... Will ask DH to test her as late as he can before he goes to bed...

Beautiful numbers today for Susie. And nice work on the transitioning away from dry food, that often is a very difficult task, but you and Susie are doing very well. :-D

very nice today.

The downward sloping numbers are probably due to the rebound/bounce from yesterday's green clearing out. At least it's a nice, slow drop, those are easy to manage. She might keep dropping for a few hours tonight, so do check her numbers again to be sure she's not going too low or going too fast. Looks good!

The urge for food gets attenuated as the blood sugar gets closer to a normal number.
I see you had a very good day! Nice of DH to test for you.... he's a keeper! ;-)

On the subject of food transition, have a visit into Do Lou's condo... the power of food speaks millions in that SS.... I often say that the only thing you'll get from dry food is grey hair...!
