Hi, I have been reading the discussion. I am lost about how to dose my kitty. I work a varying schedule so on late shift (4pm+8pm) might be followed by an early shift (7am-5pm) I try to walk up or down but it seems like constant different **** times and little consistency. Would it be better to give shots 12 hours apart and just skip a dose if it is back to back with the other schedule. Also, my kitty has Ibd and is on budesonide. The Dr just increased her dose slightly. It appears her reaction to insulin is so different I was wondering if it needed to be replaced. Before the bump up in budesonide 1 unit of insulin would create numbers under 200 during the day except overnight it consistently went low like 50s. On higher budesonide I am seeing consistently mid to high yellows during the Day but she doesn't dip below about 80 at night. I would be grateful to hear how anyone else on insulin and steroids manages. Thank you.
