I knew it would happen, Tiger really was working it last night. He dropped to 59 last night. So here we go with another reduction.
He was determined last night to stay low. The first drop I was asleep and hubby was watching at around midnight. Of course the libre went out when he reached 130 because he was falling so fast. We got food in him and the libre came on briefly sounding the alarm and showing he was at 59, and went out again. When it came on again he was around 130 but fell again to 105 and still going down. We finally gave him karo syrup and brought it up a bit. This up and down kept on most of the night until very early this morning. The food only was giving a little bump and then falling. The syrup bumped it a bit more but also didn’t last long. He was just determined and the insulin wasn’t waning like normal. I finally gave him some of his old treats because he wouldn’t eat anything more. He did eat the treats and finally about 5am was at a number I finally felt I could go to sleep.
So here we go with a reduction again. I hate this and hate putting him through this. Poor guy was already wiped out after going to the vet yesterday and the little sleep last night. And poor hubby has to work today. This stuff just affects the whole family…..
I hope everyone has a good day today…
