we haven't called the dental vet about this yet. We didn't go to our regular vet until 5:30 yesterday and got home just after 6 and the other vet was already closed. Part of me want's to call and ask about the plaque on her teeth, but the other part of me, the part that hate's confrontation and get's all mumbled jumbled when trying to ask questions say's what good would it do? If the vet said to bring her back, thats a two hour car ride one way that mocha will hate plus is it good for them to be put under anesthesia again if the vet agrees she needs another cleaning? We gave her one of her dental treats last night, just a 1/4 of it since it is so huge. She ate it up and we will start doing the toothpaste on a more regular basis.
But I did tell peter if mocha needs another cleaning, we will most likely take her to our local vet. She was the one who spotted the plaque on mochas teeth, just one month after the dental vet said her mouth looked good. I wonder if the dental vet got into mochas mouth and mainly focused on the extractions, and not so much on the cleaning. Of course the cleaning shows up on the receipt. But I wasn't there to SEE her clean her teeth you know? :YMSIGH: I really hate the way I have arguments with myself!
