Hello from Greece! Today I noticed that I giving him some times one drop instead of 0,10 u. I pushed the nidle and I find out that sometimes is two drops and most of the time must be only one drop. Is that a problem? His numbers are fine. Should I stay in this situation? It's difficult to find the exact dose every time. I thought, I was pretty sure that I am giving him always 0,10u. Thank very much again.

Consistency is best. How are you measuring the 0.1 units?

I'm trying not to reach the black line on the syringe. I don't want to do 0,25 . So I am in between the black line and under the half of the distance.

I'm giving this. It's under the last black line. I always try to do the same dose. Today I noticed that. Now I'm not sure if i give him 0,10 or a drop.

To give a drop, press hard on the plunger of the syringe, then put the needle into the vial/cartridge or pen. Release the pressure on the plunger. That should vacuum up a drop. Compare how that looks to the 0.1 you are giving.

Alternatively, draw the 0.1 units in a used syringe, using some clear coloured liquid like juice, pop or tea. Twist the plunger to release a drop. You might want to first draw more in the syringe and practice twisting to get consistent sized drops. Now go back to the 0.1 units, and count how many drops you are twisting out.

Για να χορηγήσετε μια σταγόνα, πιέστε δυνατά το έμβολο της σύριγγας και, στη συνέχεια, τοποθετήστε τη βελόνα στο φιαλίδιο/φυσίγγιο ή στην πένα. Απελευθερώστε την πίεση στο έμβολο. Αυτό θα πρέπει να απορροφήσει μια σταγόνα. Συγκρίνετε πώς φαίνεται με το 0,1 που χορηγείτε.

Εναλλακτικά, τραβήξτε τις 0,1 μονάδες σε μια χρησιμοποιημένη σύριγγα, χρησιμοποιώντας κάποιο διαυγές χρωματιστό υγρό όπως χυμό, αναψυκτικό ή τσάι. Περιστρέψτε το έμβολο για να απελευθερώσετε μια σταγόνα. Ίσως θελήσετε πρώτα να τραβήξετε περισσότερη ποσότητα στη σύριγγα και να εξασκηθείτε στο στρίψιμο για να πετύχετε σταγόνες σταθερού μεγέθους. Τώρα επιστρέψτε στις 0,1 μονάδες και μετρήστε πόσες σταγόνες στρίβετε προς τα έξω.
