WCR he is doing great hate that amps woke up to a note from DH saying he fed Do Lou freeze dried when he left for work which means Do Lou ate at +10.5- +11ish so I guess food may be involved vs bounce have to see how he does today I have gotten to hate yellow so I surely hate pink even more ate his raw as well. I have no idea why he fed the cat he has never ever done this I think he was hoping to let me sleep or something but he knows I have my alarm set for shot time which is not long after he leaves. Anyway I guess I am just frustrated over the pink cat(2)_steam

Re: 5/10 Do Lou amps 308

We'll have to sit this one out -- it is likely the bounce that we were waiting for. That was Noisy's style, his bounces could show up 48 hours after a low.

Re: 5/10 Do Lou amps 308

JoJoism: If he's been there once he'll go there again.

I still have goose bumps from that run he had -- he'll be back in no time.

Yeah I loved it remember when we talked on the phone and how afraid I was of green? Well it did not take me but that one run to realize thats what we want  no more fear for us :-D :-D

I think he has the super train boarding pass out of RBC. He is a dear about clearing bounces quickly.
Exciting, cause the picture will be oh so clear. You get to see how he clears a bounce, how a nice reduction settles, then you can move forward with a very good baseline. Perfect.

Lisa you had nice blue yesterday, so dont fret--Sometimes Moonie takes 72 hours to clear from a rebound! It is so frustrating when our babies arent in numbers that we like...But with the Great Care that you give your Do Lou, I just know he will be in good numbers soon..
Dont worry, you have D & all of us here to help--Big HUGS~!!!!

Nice to see Do Lou coming down at +3. It's not too fast either, which is really good. Tess said he looked verra handsome in his blue last night.

pmps 227 he is eating his dinner and he is not feeling as perky today maybe because of the RBC confused_cat confused_cat but he has slept all day long and the 2 days before he was much more active

Re: 5/10 Do Lou pmps 227

Aww, your probably right he didn't like that pink.
Anxious to see where he goes tonight.
Isn't it wonderful he's holding on the 2.5u? So nice to be out of those higher doses.

Re: 5/10 Do Lou pmps 227

yes it is I was just sitting with him a little bit ago watching him eat and thinking the same thing that at least with going such a drop in dose he did not RB to like red and stay there which sat in the back of my head it just amazes me how much diet is making a difference with this cat I have been kinda beating myself up to a certain degree now after seeing this wishing I had applied myself more in the fall/winter  but at least I finally took hold of the situation and we have really come far I think since starting lantus it was just so hard to take his dry he always had those give me dry kibble eye balls. But now he is very used to his new diet and is eating it really well.

Re: 5/10 Do Lou pmps 227

Nice to see Do Lou come down right away.

(From something Tess let slip, I think Do Lou just needed to rest up from being the life of the party! And another one tonight. :-D )

Re: 5/10 Do Lou pmps 227

Guess it is just natural to wish we had done something sooner, I think we all do/did that.
When future dry food kitties come here, they can be directed to your spreadsheet and see so clearly the difference it made. I believe you will be able to help the vets where you work too, who will then help other cats. Each cat here contributes to another kitty getting better.

too true D and I do hope that one day my vets may listen do me on FD care right now they think I am a idiot I think except for one who asks about Do Lou each week and acknowledges this forum and how someone else can know more then they since they never work with lantus but he is the only one. And he is not the one I started out with as Do Lou's initial FD vet who I just had to end up ignoring <sigh> anyway I sure have seen it for myself with Do as far as diet.
