Good Morning Everyone, Many thanks to D., Sienne and Randi for the dose advice yesterday evening and to everyone for your support. I held the dose at 1.25 and also shot 1.25 this morning. I will be eager to see if Stu finally clears the rebound today. He is drinking more water and producing a greater volume of urine in the last 2 days, and that concerns me. Please keep your eyes on his SS today! I am feeding his breakfast in 4 mini meals an hour aparrt to try to slow down a probable drop from the AMPS of 338.

This morning, even though it is gray, damp and cool, Stu was eager to get outside, so we went out for about 20 minutes. Then I had to bring him back in because he was "stalking" (in his housecat fashion) a song sparrow. After I test him at +2, in about 10 minutes, we'll see if he wants to play a game with Big Bug.

Update: Just tested: +2, 287. Not too steep a drop. Just discovered a giant hairball (with brown weeds in it) that Stu apparently coughed up last night ! He's not very interested in food this morning. Perhaps DH fed him too much yesterday!

Come on down from there Mr. Stu!!! however, please make it a nice slow drop from the rebound...not to slow tho cuz your mamabean wants to see some blues and greens. Think you can do that, Mr. ??? It's the least you can do since you did get to go outside this morning for some fresh air and bird watching, ya know.

Ok, Ella, I hope that little pep talk helps! Enjoy your day and hopefully there won't be anymore brown weed stuff in Stu's future.

I don't know nuttin' about nuttin', but that looks like a nice slow drop to me. Are you pleased, Ella? :smile:

Hi again,
We have reached +9 and Stu has been gradually (thank goodness!) going down the ladder all day. Can I interpret this to mean that the rebound is clearing? If the rebound is indeed clearing, should I be seeing further declining numbers at PMPS? Or, if numbers rise (as I expect they will), how should I interpret the degree of the rise with regard to determining Stu's dose? The choices are: take it back up to 1.50 units, or do another cycle at 1.25 units.

I really appreciate the advice I got yesterday from D., Sienne, and Randi. I must admit that I was a bit dismayed at this morning's AMPS, but the rest of the day has been heartening. Advice and opinion are welcome, as always!

AMPS 338, shot 1.25 units; fed breakfast in 3 mini meals at AMPS, +1, +2 (would have fed at +3, but Stu hadn't finished +2's meal)

+5.5 175 set out normal portion of lunch; Stu ate most of it.

+9 135 4 small chunks of boiled chicken as treat
PMPS 188 shot 1.25, as D. recommended
+4 83(!!) fed him 3 spoonsful of MC, put out a portion of LC, and 2 more portions in the auto feeder to "release" at +6 and +8

Without hesitation I recommend another cycle of 1.25u -- unless some totally off number shows up at PS.

Well, I guess the rebound has really cleared. bg is 83 at PMPS +4. I fed Stu 3 spoonsful of MC and put out 3 small meals of LC into the new auto feeder to be "delivered" at +4 (now), +6, and +8. Is it safe to go to bed??

looks like stu's doing well with 1.25u!
if it were me, i'd get a +5 to make sure he doesn't continue to drop. if he's the same or higher, i think you're safe to get some sleep...
