Hope some others stop in today. Hard to say Bob, bet you are wanting that 1.5u back though.
Something happened to Arnie, I just wish we knew what.
Do you think it is possible that you might have shot more than the 1.5u that night -- I know I caught myself a few times with Noisy almost giving him the wrong dose (almost gave the wrong cat a shot once  ).

What worries me is if it wasn't a hypo situation then what was it? Did his head shake like a siezure, tremor, how long did it shake.

Bob I know you want to avoid a vet visit but I think since these numbers are unusual for Arnie I think I would have him checked out at the vet. Could he be shaking his head because he has an ear infection or his teeth hurt. I think more insulin is not the answer until you rule out something medical.

Hi Bob,

sorry to see these odd numbers on Arnie. Just not like him to be there.
Hope he clears them soon and things back to normal for you both.

Re: 4/8 Arnie AMPS 306 +5 288

Everything seems normal with Arnie except the numbers. All P's in place. The head shake was more like a tremor and only lasted about 3 seconds and I haven't seen it happen since. Hoping to see a difference when we start the new insulin tomorrow morning. Can't take him to the vets before next Tuesday when I am off again. If things don't improve by then I suppose we will have to go to the vets. Keep the fingers and paws crossed.

Hopefully the tremor thing was a fluke. Maybe just his nerves. Like humans get a shiver sometimes. Glad everything else is fine. I guess we'll know more when he gets new insulin. I hate that its so expensive too Bob.

Re: 4/8 Arnie PMPS 324

Yes hopefully tomorrow night we will see a much better number. He will get new insulin in the morning.
