Hey everyone,

Meant to post yesterday but it ended up slipping my mind. Indy's appetite is back with a vengeance. The fortiflora seems to be helping him. Was a little worried over the weekend because he hadn't pooped. Gave him a bit of miralax and he pooped overnight Sunday night/Monday morning. That was anxiety provoking. I don't know if it is because of the fortiflora or just because of his increased appetite but I think we are going to be looking at increasing back to .75u. He was rocking the .5u for awhile but we have a yellow 2 hours before AMPS and it has been steadily going up. Going to keep my patience pants on and see if it is a fluke especially since he was in the 70s last night. I know that hubby smelled a bit of insulin on him at AMPS yesterday, so I guess that could have affected it. Patience pants....must keep on my patience pants.

In other news, spring break is over and I feel just as exhausted as when it began. Part of that is because of the anxiety of Indy's IBD flare-up and then the resulting depression hangover. I had one day that I literally just dozed on the couch....all day. I accomplished nothing. But my anxiety and depression wouldn't let me move. Also, messed with my appetite. Went to a 90th birthday party for my dad and my social anxiety was alive and well. My mom was concerned because I was so quiet. To end on a positive note, we got professional pictures done of some of the reptiles, the photos are unprocessed but they look amazing! I can't wait to see how they turn out.

239....I don't like it...I don't like it at all.

EDIT: It autocorrected to 215. And then I think he laid on it because it dived down quick to 179....lol.

Sending lots of hugs your way, Jessica. You and your hubby are doing a great job with sweet Indy!:bighug::bighug:

Sorry your break is over, it's so nice to have a bit of time off now and then to recharge!

Glad to hear Indy is eating well, hang on to those patience pants and safe surfing to Indy 🌊 :cat:💙

He is dropping fast today.... +2 we are at 157, so I feel a bit better.

Still crazy to me that he is 18 years old. (or just about, don't have an exact birthday, though I have had him since he was a kitten in 2008). He has never been a big cuddler or anything. Has become more stoic as he has gotten older. But he has his bed on my desk and that is *his* spot. He will reach out for me while I am at my computer and almost always stands up to greet me when I enter the room. Love my old man for as long as we may have him.

(ex-husband in 2nd pic, but Indy is just too stinkin precious. Pretty sure that is the day we brought him home)

Well, looks like Indy got down to 120s. But hard to tell today because his sensor readings are super bouncy. He really liked laying on that side today.

So after a final look at the libre linkup for yesterday, he got down to 113. We will continue to hold for now. Yesterday was our first day with no green, so I don't want to rush anything. I can't have the stupid libre going too low and then stop working.
